  • that giggle Shelly gives at the end made my heart skip a beat. And I'm a girl.

  • A-ok 1:20

  • i wish they got together, he was so much better than her jerk boyfriend :(

  • I love this scene. It's so endearing.

  • pie? MASSSIVE ...NIGHTMARISH amounts of pie...

  • the "Venus de Milo" is important in twin peaks - the connects the lodges

  • I love this scene. It's so sweet and funny and the music really helps add that touch

  • When he said "say something else" I wish she had said "something else." Goodnight, Gracie!

  • @travisnealtodd70 : c'mon ! she's not even blonde ;) !

  • I'd love for him to do a series with the Gordon Cole character.

  • The statue gordon is talking about is the same one in the Black Lodge, nice touch.

  • 2:33 "Would you like some pie?"

    "MASSIVE... MASSIVE QUANTITIES!"

    That's what she said ;)

  • I loved this show, and miss it. This is one of my favorite scenes, too funny!

  • Wish they had made more episodes!!

  • Ahahaha, why can't he control the volume and pitch of his voice?

  • @my80splaylist He has 99% hearing loss.

  • @my80splaylist

    *adjusts earphones*

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!! BUT WHAT I WANNA KNOW IS WHY CAN'T THE GUY CONTROL THE VOLUME AND PITCH OF HIS VOICE!!!!

WAIT 'TIL COOP GETS A LOAD OF THIS GUY!!! HA!!

    >:-o

  • shelly's all right, but the log lady is the woman for me.

  • @littlsuprstr She chews pitch gum. On the outside, let's say of the ponderosa pine, sometimes pitch oozes out. Runny pitch is no good to chew. Hard, brittle pitch is no good. But in between there exists a firm, slightly crusted pitch with such a flavor. This is the pitch she chews.

  • Two people would like for you to speak up

  • Shelly Johnson is the most beautiful character from any 90s televison program. Seriously, she is a goddess.

  • A TEAM OF BUMBLEBEES!

  • The best Tv show ever!!!

  • @DmitriOrtsiev Not ever! For EVER !!! I miss it so much :(

  • @mjurdyga Yeah, me too...

  • god i miss this series

  • You missed the part where he said he was intending to write an epic poem about the pie.

  • What is counter esperanto? Never heard that expression before or since.

  • @TotteringHotspurs I guess it's a pun on counter espionage.

  • 2 peoples socks were never on fire

  • This is still the best tv show ever made, in my opinion. You just fall in love with all these characters.

Gordon is hilarious, and it's so cute how he experiences love at first sight... or sound.

And Shelly's reaction when he's shouting for coffee is adorable!

  • Well, you remember John Justice Wheeler? I would like ot be him in Twin Peaks to have the hot Audrey. I still love her, so sexy. Thanks Lynch for all your genial creations!

  • That guy was David Lynch?? Wow I knew what he looked like but Had no idea he was that character...... Doesnt seem like a character lynch would play.... Lol I love this character.

  • Twin Peaks was the absolutely BEST TV show. Period.

The fact that it also had two of the most beautiful women of the 90's did not hurt either.

  • @IceBreaker1881 I still don't see how it would get cancelled. Although the tv views dropped sharply, I'm sure it still would've done great

  • @IceBreaker1881 ah my friend there were more than two beautiful women on that show

  • @IceBreaker1881

That's right, Sarah Palmer and The Log Lady.

  • MASSIVE, MASSIVE QUANTITIES

  • She really is beautiful.

  • For sure one of my favorite scenes of Twin Peaks, if you include the part with Heather Graham/Annie Blackburn with Agent Cooper.

  • my socks are on fire :P

  • GREAT moment. Mädchen Amick was GORGEOUS (she's still gorgeous)

  • lol she's like 19 rite? Somehow she seems older, and he seems goofy enough to not be creepy.

  • I'm watching through this show at the moment. Currently at season 2 episode 5.... Bit late I know but i'm loving it. Really surreal and different to anything i've seen before.

  • @paulosio

better late than never lad :)

  • @paulosio

better late than never lad :)

i the same only wathced it a few months ago... fantastic show

  • Lolol, yelling around all the time. What can one do exceplt laughing!?

  • I woulda killed for a spinoff cop/comedy show with just Gordon and Cooper.

  • WOULD YOU PLEASE ASK THE LADY WITH THE LOG TO SPEAK UP!

  • David lynch has become like heroine for me, the more I have the more I want. I've been an addict for 15years now. There is no one out there like lynch - he is a true artist.

  • "Twin Peaks” - Season 3 (25 years letter) in 2015!

  • - ..... this is like some kind of miracle... a phenomenon.

    - What's wrong with miracles?

    - WHAT'S THAT?!?!?!?!

    Hahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • that really was hilarious!

  • AHA!! I always knew Shelly was an angel from heaven and now I know it's true!

she worked a miracle! Dude can hear! (wow, wish I could be her prince!)

  • I'm a writer, and this show truly inspires me

  • bumblebees

  • this is just so creative, thats what inspires people, we need to have more of this stuff these days.

  • Ive never laughed and been scared at the same time watching a film, yet Lynch manages to do it to me everytime.

  • What a perfect role for Lynch, since he is pretty out thar.

  • The best scene of the best show ever made!

  • i watched a documentary about how david lynch specifically wrote himself in the role of gordon cole JUST so he could kiss madchen amick at one point....she said it was the highlight of her role as shelly (i think we had some butt kissing going on....but she sounded honest!!)

  • @garbagegirl42069 I think it's pretty clear both of them were joking when they said that. They laughed and stuff.

  • MY SOCKS ARE ON FIRE

  • "Counter-Esperanto!"

  • "THE NAME WAS MILO, BUT THAT"S BESIDE THE POINT!"

  • Massive, massive quantities!

  • Ah yes, when network TV was worth watching! Those were the good old days. I just hope that the new suit who's now running You Tube doesn't make that same mistake by running it into the ground with TOO MANY GOD-DAMM ADS.............................

  • Yeah, I had forgotten about Shelley. Very much the hottie on this show. I always liked that place where she lived; looked like it was never finished, had unfinished walls.

  • Is it just me or is his bumblebee metaphor actually really sweet?

  • i love seeing him startle Shelley when he walks up and shouts at her. I like that she checks in with Coop before talking to Gordon. I love the log lady's hostility to Cole. and I love that he calls her 'the lady with the log'. i don't know why he hasn't ever learned to read lips, though.

  • did i hear a fart? 2:37

  • @laladuplex Yes. Yes you did.

  • an "anticdote"?

  • I'd like to try the waitress's pie.

  • Rather romantic than funny, but thx for uploading! :-)

  • that Bobby, he got to nail shelly johnson

  • girls with long hair drive me nuts.

  • epic

  • Never heard of "Counter esperanto" before or since. God Lynch is a genius.

  • And a glass of water; my socks are on fire. LOL, what a smoothie.

  • aw, cole is such a bloody charmer.

  • One of my most favorite parts of the series!

  • David Lynch needs some work on those pick- up lines.

  • Imagine clicking the channel to this, one of the more "Northern Exposure" type scenes and just changing it to watch something else. Twin Peaks is a strange almost mosaic piece b/c it goes from boonies to horror house. I especially like the red room scenes like Cooper's dreams episode. I think Balandeti's music is sometimes too faint as the sound to some of the more icky scenes.

  • dynamite tv

  • I bet Lynch uses this routine all the time to pick up the chicks.

  • @JRHartly1984 Man I sure hope so.

  • @JRHartly1984

That's my opinion too ... and i will try it from now ;-)

  • Lynch sure does have taste in women. Shelly was the most beautiful in the series.

  • David and Kyle work so well together it's almost eerie.

  • this is fucking hilarious. I didn't know he acted.

  • One of the most amazing shows ever on TV

  • TALKING IN ALL CAPS

  • He's a great director but he can obviously act, too.

  • haaa haa ha ha !!! quel plaisir de revoir ce moment...

  • i always thought this was one of the sweetest things in this show

  • that´s the kind of girl that makes you wish she spoke a little french

    =D love it

  • I am gay for David Lynch. I am a straight guy, I want chicks, but I also want David Lynch. In a very, very gay way.

  • asses are tighter than vagoos.

  • @s3ac0w

    he kicks ass

  • @s3ac0w

    strangeboner.jpg

  • why she isn't naked?????

  • Oh, this will never get old... Such a brilliant series!

  • She has a beautiful face. I really love those eyebrows.

  • these assholes creating tele shows today should take a fucking few notes from this show.....O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L

  • Good point!

  • @theenigmajjames I LOVE DAVID LYNCH HE'S BRILLIANT XD

  • Brilliant reaction at 1:11 :D

  • She is incredibly beautiful and she has such a sweet voice. And David Lynch is such a good actor.

  • Lynch made this whole scene because he was in love with the actress who played shelly.

  • @OscarMaris

I agree. Before I even read your comment I thought to myself, god damn I would write myself a million love scenes with her. :)

  • "WHAT'S THAT!!!"

Just dropped me off my seat....

  • Haha brilliant, Twin Peaks was fantastic, weirdness and gorgeous women, what more do you need on your telly box.

  • One of the best shows ever created. David Lynch is the god of motion picture. +5

  • @Huitzel

    Huitzel = Poor man's Youtuber

  • @LordChimpKing Oh my god... Im damaged goods now. You ruined my entire day. You mad? You mad that Lynch is a hack director? You mad?

  • @Huitzel

    Fail Troll.

  • @Huitzel

Your "insights" are not adding to the conversation, but you already knew that. I find it hard to believe that you are a serious student of film if you are willing to trash a highly regarded director by comparing him to another. You are a troll; this is evidenced by your first post: "Lynch=Poor Man's Kubrick." No serious person would post that. And no, trolls don't usually just say "fuck you." They respond back, as you have, to all the replies they generate.

  • @LordChimpKing Im sorry do I know you?

  • @LordChimpKing David Lynch has been called "the poor man's Kubrick"? Lol, funny stuff.

  • @Huitzel

Oh, for Heaven's sake, if you want to see Kubrick to and see him.. why gabble such rubbish on here? It says D A V I D L Y N C H in the title, ffs. Why bother if you don't like him?

... oh.. no.. hang on.... attention seeking.... ohhhhh I get it now

  • @kara1464 I like Lynch, to a degree. But his movies are repetitious as hell. Seriously, what Lynch does can be recreated by ANYONE. Its not unique its just off the wall weird. Kubrick was a master. Light years beyond anything created before and after his death. Im not seeking attention, Im just stating MY opinion and YOU decided to refute that and make it much larger than it is.

So who is wrong, the person expressing their opinion or the nazi telling him he is wrong?

  • @Huitzel So, you express your opinion and it's an expression of opinion. Someone who expression the opinion that you're wrong is a nazi.

  • @kara1464 No, thats not what im saying. Im saying expressing your opinion is a good thing. But when you turn your opinion into a weapon to harm to hurt someone, you're a nazi. I wasnt looking for attention, I was stating my opinion then you came along and.... well, we know the rest.

Now allow me to be a nazi, learn to spell/type.

  • @Huitzel @Huitzel This is a David Lynch posting. You come along and try to belittle his efforts and talent by comparing him to someone you think is better. It seems you've turned your opinion into a weapon to harm or hurt someone. You need a mirror, my friend.

So far as the typo's concerned - it's just a typo, get over it.

  • @Huitzel I'm sure David Lynch can handle anything that's thrown at him... he'll have had more thrown at him than you could throw, over the years. However, he's massively popular and people do actually admire and appreciate his talent and vision.

You keep going round in circles about opinions. I'm happy with people expressing opinions.. it was YOU who brought up the word, 'nazi'. It was you who started throwing insults around.

It's not a poor man who appreciates David Lynch.

  • @Huitzel But I'm taking advice and this will be the last response you'll get from me.

I'm thinking that I was probably right initially, and that this is just an attention-seeking exercise.

You can voice or type your opinion, as is yours and everyone's right, and there's no need to carry on with this kind of argument.

Enjoy your Kubrick and I'll enjoy my Lynch... or we could both appreciate both for what they are, rather than comparing one against the other.

    Either way. bye bye

  • my god shelly is gorgeous... so is audrey horne of course

  • his socks are on fire.

  • I think this scene with Shelley is so romantic. In fact I love Lynch's portrayal of romance. The scene in 'Lost Highway' where Alice and Pete see each other for the first time is beautiful. Also the end of 'Wild at Heart' (I won't give it away), makes me cry it's so sweet!

  • Thanks for not giving it away!

  • "I HEARD THAT!" is the funniest line, and the second has to be when he asks for the glass of water because his socks are on fire! :)

  • and her "aha" -so sweet!:)

  • early 90's.

    Shelly looks so beautiful.

  • jesus lynch is loud

  • That's Lynch comedy: An FBI agent in charge of "top secret" information shouting at the top of his voice--what an oxymoron.

  • @odovicor i can not believe there are so few directors that are actually artists at the same time, lynch is one of the few

  • wow those two act good together

  • I guess this is still in the 90's, right?

  • "Holy Smokes, who is that?"

"And a glass of water, Sweetheart, my socks are on fire!"

    Masterful scene.

  • Shelly's face at 1:11.

  • I'll never forget this scene, CRACKING!!

  • i think he's really sexy

  • I'm a guy, and I think Lynch is pretty good looking. Even in his older days. The guy has class and a certain sophistication about him.

  • oh im a guy too Buck, im a guy too

  • LOL this pie is a miracle

  • Massive quantities, sweetheart, my socks are on fire!!

  • I love the character he plays here. So genuine.

  • DL is amazing!!! put anything in front of him and it's a grand slam. acting.

  • Gordon clearly isn't in love with the Log Lady, He's in love with Shelly.

  • Oh, no! I was trying to find the part where he says he wants to write an epic poem about the pie and it's not there! I'm almost positive it's right after this video ends, too. Dang.

  • what movie is this from?

  • He needs to act more often.

  • ...practice makes perfect!

  • He is America's most precious resource.

  • Twin Peaks is and incredible series. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Gordon Cole has to be one of the show's funniest creations. ^^

  • who's the girl,she's hot......

  • Lynch is so funny!

    Indeed, LOL :)

  • is Madchen Amick the name of the actress right??? ..she's really gorgeous

    .

  • so many of the women in this show were completely gorgeous.

  • Yep, it's Madchen. Maybe she could be added to the tags, so it's easier to find this scene? I've been looking for it and stumbled upon it by accident. :-) *I love this scene!* David Lynch is funny and Madchen looks amazing!

  • loved the series hate the movie

  • is that kyle mclaughlan?

  • yep

  • Yep!
