there was a flood in this small place a few days before we played. it was gross and reminded me of the way a wet dog smells. the people made up for it. great humans. thx! one of the best tours i have ever done with a band was this one with clann zu. every night we had a band contest called" top mate". most of the band minus me and declan, are from Australia, thus the name top mate. anyway, we gave out a shitty little bmx trophy from the 80's to the top shredder of the night. great band!

Oh man, I actually bartended this show. I worked there for years and years and Clann Zu - in my opinion-put on the best show in all that time. I profoundly miss their music. Any chance there is more footage from this show?
P.S. that other band upstairs was just some lame ass cover band. Clann Zu totally drwoned them out though. It was great.

also, somebody taped it with better audio and its out there somewhere, i should have the FLAC of it in my archives
and agreed, one of the better shows ever in there by far.....

I think they're Irish, but formed in Melbourne, so i'm not sure whether they'd say they're Irish or Australian...

Declan (Singer) is originally from Ireland, but moved to Australia in his late teens. The rest of the band is Australian.
