@mADDmartha. Hey Miss Megan thanks for stopping by can't wait to see your version. Know it will be super cute. One thing I couldn't show is that I puy a strip of paper behind the top edge attached just on the sides and slipped the tag between in and the topper for more stability. Hope that makes sense.
@laurelhill1 Thanks so much for stopping by...I have been gone from YT most of the summer...and hated not having the interaction with my Crafting Buddies! I watched a TON of vids though and got lots of inspiration. After the flood in Nashville, I lost internet to my house -- and it has just been hard to get everything done AWAY from my house...but I am working on changing that...woo hoo -- I'm back! Thanks for missing me!
@miworld50 Thank you so much for your encouragement. I am kind of new to card making -- and I appreciate you taking the time to encourage me! Have a great weekend.
@cindysms Thanks...I am really practicing with my copics these days. Would love to become certified so that I can teach others -- but there is a LOT to learn.
This is such a neat idea...your card is beautiful!!! I will have to check out Beatta's tutorial....thanks for sharing!
Is the background of the easel in your mini that you showed the Cuttlebug Stars embossing folder??? It looks like you embossed it with embossing powder or something...how did you do that??? It's AWESOME!!!
@liveloveandSCRAP Sarah -- you have a GREAT eye! Yes -- that background is the Cuttlebug stars folder. I started with thick white stamping cardstock....put it through the embossing folder -- then sprayed it with glimmer mist and let it dry. Then I took a blue Copic marker (any permanent marker would work) - and brushed it over the raised parts to darken them. It has a neat effect. I showed a tutorial for this technique in my vids on working with the Texture Fades. Thanks for stopping by!
@WhatYouMakeIt1 Thanks Jann for letting me know how you did it.....I have to try this....it popped out at me!!! I love that look!!!!! I will check out your vid too!!!
@roxyfur thanks Roxy...this has just been a "busier than usual" summer...and ever since the flood here in Nashville, I haven't had internet at my home...so it was just more difficult to upload vids....am getting "back with the program!" *smile*
Could you please explain in detail how the card is put together. Link is not working, thank you.
