Luke 19:10, - "The Son of Man came to find lost people and save them."
he came to save us. Not to punish us, but he is just and punishment will come for those that choose to not believe. Pastor Mark was saying that we who are Christians are praying for the wrong things. We want God to get us out of bad situation, Jesus wanted the Father to get him through it. Us who are Christians should be doing the same.
Because a God who is truly just and pure would not remove pain an suffering from this world. It's the byproduct of sin coming into this world. God created Man, he LOVED his creation. Man betrayed God and severed the connection with him. Man was now impure, God being Pure could not be with man, but God loved Man. See the conflict? That's where Jesus comes in (Insert "Good News" gospel here) :)
Because my suffering brings glory to my Love. God is glorified the most when we suffer and praise God none the less. Man I know its tough to understand because you dont have the perception that I have right now but you will just have to trust me that if you trust God then you would understand! Its the truth bro...the truth.
From the moment Jesus came to this world His only goal in life was that in all things God the Father may be glorified. Through His teaching His healing His prayer life He Give God the father all the glory and thus shows us that we should also follow His example. As the hymn says "To God be the glory great thing He hath done" For God loves us SO much that He gave us the gift of His Son Jesus to point us to the great I AM is the Way the Truth and the Life.
This sermon touched me in a personal way because on April 25th of this year, I had a miscarriage....I know that God had a reason for taking my baby, but it was very troubling.
Evennow27: There was no reason at all. It was just nature. Look at the blooming fruit trees in the spring. How many flowers die before developing into fruit. I am sorry, but this is the way nature is.
AWESOME

@dean2cool4u That's what Jesus wanted, sure. But God set up a world full of suffering and pain... why not remove the suffering and pain altogether?

What is pain and suffering? Explain your definition of it so I can present a argument that is relative to you.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
When in trouble, some are helped by prayer to an imaginary god, others are helped by a psychiatrist, others are beyond help.
Philos2006 2 years ago
there is no imaginary God.. -.-... God is real and psychiatrist is the enemies way of deceiving and distracting those who don't believe..

@DryBONESreborn
No. The point he's making is that our faith isn't a function of how poor or wealthy we are.
