I believe most of the people agrees that Messi puts his best in Argentina just as he does in Barcelona, its just that his nation has failed to form a team. Its mostly the fault of the coaches.

You nailed it. Argentina doesn't have playmakers like Xavi or Iniesta, so Messi plays the role (he's the closest they have). But of course, that means he can't play the role he does in Barca (i.e. the finisher).

I think aside from the obvious seamless link-up he has with the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro and even Alves, that's lacking at Argentina, it's also a case of the chances he makes seeming less dangerous because there aren't people who take advantage of them- what he does at Barca isn't really any different to what he does in this video, except that it's turned into chances/goals by better team-mates.
