For example, it looks like for the thor you are creating 3 oscillating sounds, then filtering them collectively 3 times in an osc fashion, then widening and filter again! But then you said you don't want the low frequencies to muddy up the mix, but you just widened it!!@^!%#^!%@#^! Also what exactly is a pad?

honestly youre tutorials are opening reason 4 up too me, i used to use fl studio but i upgraded to reason and its really hard but youre showing the way!

FL is not an amateur program. It's just the easiest(imo) that's why a lot of people use it. It's all about the technique and how one uses the DAW. Check out Zircon, Toby Emerson & Deadmau5 just to name a few FL Users.

It's all about experience and personal preference people! You could use fl studio, reason, cubase, pro-tools, whatever you want as long as you like it and take the time to learn it. That is the key to "pro" sounding music.

And to christian, use rewire.

Upgrading your sounds is not a waste of time at all. Being limited with reasons THOR and whatever synthesizers vs unlimited possibilities with vsts, who's the winner here? Plus with FL's vsti's, you can pretty much do the same thing as with reason's synths. But still, calling FL amateur makes you look like an ignorant ass.
