In my observation of guys like hal.. they take comfort in cracking jokes at the misfortune of others. test it for yourself, and prove me wrong. We've all inherited our positions & it has nothing to do with individual greatness. so, the fundamental question is "who are you going be? What kind of person do you choose to be? What is the quality of your service? What kind of legacy are going to leave behind to your children to enrich their lives?"
