  • Why can't I just import the whole Blender file? It would be so much easier...

  • Holy crap. I am doing this but the models are not showing up in the same view. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but simply copying and pasting would be easier.

  • So, if I'm wanting to create a scene with multiple "ship" models I need to import them all into blender. Save them individually as a blend file, and then import them as such after making them one solid object?

  • A hint is to right click to select several of them. That way you can open a bunch instead of one by one.

  • if i try to append a mesh, simply nothing happens. NOTHING. it wonly works with materials.

    please help me.

  • can't you select all the cubes at once, and import them? or do you have to do them 1 by 1?

Thanks for this tutorial. I was looking all over blender for a special open option!

  • Good job, his voice started to crack XD

  • with the Objects if you hade a texurs with that object can you add it and have the texures too

  • uhh ctrl f doesnt save mine for some reason it just appears as sort faces. so i played around and hit "shift F" and it turned out to be a neat little camera feature!! also if you take a lamp for example, out of someone elses file will it do like a copy type of tjhing ( we both have it in our different files) or is it like a cut (takes out of others file and puts into another)

  • ctrl s not ctrl f

  • This help alot! Thanks super3boy!

  • Great tuts! Thanks

  • cool

  • thx

  • You can only import one object at a time AFAIK. But you can join (Control-J) the object to make them into one object. You can them append them in one run.

  • After you Join your objects, how do you separate them?

  • In editmode, select what you want and press p.

  • Wow! Thanks! this is really helpful!
