As over-the-top as this death scene was, if you think about it, it's pretty damn brutal. I mean, Rondo just seemed to shank her in the gut and then left her to meander around the room until she finally died.

Ok, even though some people thought her death was boring, its so much more emotional in the japanese. I played the entire game in japanese and i personally think it had much more emotion to every line. And when claves when in a scene with frederic later in the game, i almost bawled just because of the referencing to this scene

"Okay........" and finally when my friend can't take the ridiculously long death scene anymore he shouted

Tri-Crescendo, I have good advice for you. When a character dies, make sure they have had decent time on-screen and have them die within 2 minutes of suffering the fatal injury, not 15 goddamn minutes.

It can take up to 15 minutes for a person to bleed out. If she really wanted her dead quickly--if far more messily--Rondo would have cut her throat or slashed open her groin--big arteries feed that area; big ol' red sprays everywhere and death in five minutes instead of fifteen. Plus she'd be too dizzy and weak too think coherently let alone monologue.

Did this scene really need to be so long? Honestly, she was in my party for all of half an hour with little to nothing to say yet somehow it takes her roughly 8 minutes of bitching interspersed with flashbacks from a conversation I just saw to finally kick the bucket.

A note to Tri-Crescendo: Character death is only emotional if you actually care about the character in question, anything else is just cheap melodrama!
