Windstorm Strands Sailboat on Vancouver Beach 11/11/11

@tomperanteau: We called the coast guard. There was no other way we could have helped him, since (a) there was no one on the boat -- it must have dragged it's anchor in the high winds -- and (b) it was way too dangerous to wade out there -- huge waves, cold water, boat rocking up and down. Apparently, a similar windstorm in Vancouver last year beached about 6 boats. Lucky for this guy, his boat got stuck perpendicular to the beach. Sideways it would've tipped over and filled with water.

Do you guys help him the fuck out? Do you help him to get back offshore?
