hm.. did you see the tron tutorial on blendercookie? you should watch it :) they show you how to make the stripes glow and it really makes it totally awsome!
@Ristridyn Na I didnt but I googled it after I read your comment and its a awesome tutorial and I'm going to apply it to my new version of the model. Thanks for the heads up.
@uNb0uNd3d I used a texture and made it react like a reflection. Its all done on the internal render. So what your saying in the silver or crome is just a bent picture moving around as the camera does.
