That painting is mute They dress like that now on the Opry stage In fact this younger bunch that has hijacked country music show every thing that you want to see Back in the true country music day's you were lucky to see a knee ..Just listen to stupid song's they are trying push as country music .
I can never listen to this song. It's not because I think it's bad or anything (I don't), but because it reminds me of all the times my heart has been broken.
I wonder why this particular picture was used. I'm no prude but, to me, it has nothing to do with this song so it must have been for the purpose of exciting someone. Oh well, I love Red Sovine's music so I just scroll down and ignore the picture. I first heard this song by The Wilburn Brothers and it's good to hear Red's version Thanks Joan for posting. - Paula
@contractor46 People like you are gross. That's another reason I object ed to the picture - there's always someone who has to vent some vulgarity and you are it here it seems.
Who are these prudes anyway? The image is mid-'60s "fine art" (in a black velvet truckstop sense) at its best and it matches the song perfectly, in the context of the times.
Besides, are there really any children surfing Youtube for Red Sovine obscurities? Come on people, lighten up!
I think Red obviously had a real sense of humor, check out "I Didn't Jump The Fence". Hilariously sleazy!
Good grief! This is art. Young children are sending nude photos of themselves on their camera phones and doing it (sex) when they are alone. With drugs, sex and booze, in their daily activities, this art work is innocent.
In all seriousness, my wife wants to know where you found this great painting! Do you have an actual copy of it?
Thanks for educating the folks about REAL country! I think today's supposed country is more akin to grunge-lite like Nickelback and the production style of Mutt Lange (Def Leppard, Shania Twain). Can it get any lamer?
I'm not so sure about that and I didn't look that close anyway. Anyway look what's on TV today. This is clean family entertainment compared to that stuff.
Ok, don't get hung up on her. Listen to the music and you'll appreciate this original music and it will take your mind off of her. At least this is real music contray to the cookie cutter, frayed jeans, tatooed body, half drunk and drugged, can't sing, immoral kids trying to claim country music status today.
Yep, that painting is about to be the worst thing children will see on youtube...

if she is talking to her lover.. is it telepathicall? or what? coz i see no phone in her appendages
Talk2Tell 3 years ago
maybe she is just thinking about him...
in a special way.
someone should call a hand check on her...and her alleged phone mate.
mbw3451 3 years ago
Oh yes i totally agree.. i think that this is not family appropriate and should not be veiwed by young children..

and i definitely do not see any phone in her hand.
talk about major controversy...

What's with the half naked bride?
It sort of grosses me out.
But the song is okay.
mbw3451 3 years ago
It is an art painting. Don't make it into something bad. The woman is on the phone with her lover, but it ain't the disgusting Bill Clinton.

The tune is great (one of my Red faves, excellent for late night cross country drives), the painting is awesome!!! Who needs pants?
Speaking of which, let's hope she's not on the phone with the even more disgusting G.W. "Bush"!
