where is this in Canada? I know if you lived there theres a good chance to see them, but would you have to be far up north of Canada just to see them? I live in Port Angeles which is across from Victoria Canada.
One night I saw green auroras from North Vancouver of a kind I've never seen on tape nor even heard of. They looked exactly like the damp ripples formed by waves that you see on a flat, sandy beach, but sped from north to south at an astonishing rate. It was absolutely dumbfounding. Has anyone else seen auroras like this?

At my latitude, pale green is the dominant colour for any display - on those rare occasions that you see them - although there was a hint of red in the sky on the night of the wave aurora.

Love these pictures, i saw this while sitting outside my house as late as march this year. We had a lot of northern lights last winter. It is a wonderful phonomenon :)
Im so lucky to live in northern Norway. these occur quite often. I can see why the native people of the countries with these meant they contained magic and souls.. It's one of th emost beautifull things to withness in my opinion.. That and the scenery of Norwegian fjords!

One night I saw green auroras from North Vancouver of a kind I've never seen on tape nor even heard of. They looked exactly like the damp ripples formed by waves that you see on a flat, sandy beach, but sped from north to south at an astonishing rate. It was absolutely dumbfounding. Has anyone else seen auroras like this?

At my latitude, pale green is the dominant colour for any display - on those rare occasions that you see them - although there was a hint of red in the sky on the night of the wave aurora.

Love these pictures, i saw this while sitting outside my house as late as march this year. We had a lot of northern lights last winter. It is a wonderful phonomenon :)

Im so lucky to live in northern Norway. these occur quite often. I can see why the native people of the countries with these meant they contained magic and souls.. It's one of th emost beautifull things to withness in my opinion.. That and the scenery of Norwegian fjords!
