  • The good thing about invisible safety glasses is they're always on.

  • Use masking tape before you drill your holes, it makes the cut cleaner on both plastic and metal. Then use a dremel with a sander attachment to smooth out any ruff edges.

  • Do not drill to fast or Because the plastic could break,

"i tought it had more power" its just a security that if their is to many pressure it stops

  • These people are idiots. WAY too fast for running a hole saw.

    DO NOT do this.

  • Helllll yeah only video on youtube that tells you what size hole saw you need for each fan! Thanks so much awesome vid.

  • as it is called the white stuff?

  • what case is that

  • xDDDDDDDDDD SAFETY EQUIPMENT LOOLL WOOT OMFG XDDD

  • Cool video mannn

  • hahaha c'mon baby!!! 7/16/2010 still funny

  • @tino191 12/5/2011 still funny

  • lol its not the power .. it is the speed .. .... turning to fast

  • What is the thing that you said u need for drilling a hole?

  • @hatbui1 He said he needed to have an arbor. The arbor connects the hole saw blade to the drill.

  • lol, the press stops in the middle of it......ha ha

  • hi can u tell me that the tranperent glass which is used in pc is made of which material is that a fibre glass or plastic sheet of glass plz tell?????

  • @boyzpiyush

    i think it's plexi?

  • NICE HOLE ^^

  • invisible glasses LOL xD

  • how would i do this on a plastic case without cracking it?

  • illd put painters tape stuff over it. and dont press down hard just the weight of the drill really and go bit slowley :)

  • @mognovox yes,you should either use the kind of drill he usesfor the 120mm, or if you dont have one, (in both cases its quite good) get speed to low and start drilling without forcing it, let the drill do the job and if you hear a crack, its too late :P

  • that thing don't have much power to cut the plastic face, it sems like it do it.

  • he is running that drill press way to fast for that bit that is one reason why it is cutting like shit

  • Hi. Thanks.

    1) Try using a layer of some material clamped, or "sandwiched," below and above the thin metal you are cutting.

    2) That hole saw (4 1/2) is clearly spinning too fast for the diameter of the cutting surface. The teeth gullets become clogged with hot plastic. The drill seems weak when it isn't. Lubrication and compressed air will help, too.

    3) How much are your eyes worth?

  • c-clamp we call them g-clamps in england

  • omg, the front bezel cut for the 120 mm hole is a Aopen HX08 full size case. i just got rid of one of these. HUGE case!

  • EXCELENTE!

  • we like to call those invisible safety glasses, Safety Contacts

  • Nice hole dude! xD

  • you gay?

xD just kidding but sounded funny!

  • xD!!!

  • lol !! its not the power it lacks... the belt of the drill is slipping.

  • Hi nylecrane2k7,

I don't see why not. Though you need to keep in mind that while Bill really knows his stuff, he was running the hole saw way too fast. (I think he already knows this by now). If you have a variable speed hand drill and if you run it at about 100 rpm you can prevent plastic from burning. You also need to keep the piece your cutting clamped down really well. Otherwise if the saw gets jammed into your piece you might get hurt.

    Be careful.

  • Great video I was looking for the name of this tool to make 2 holes on my Antec 900 case.

I am curious if you didn't apply a lot of pressure would it still work? I don't feel like warping my tray.

  • you don't need to apply alot of pressure and are probably best off not to. I do alot of work with hole saws, you just need to let the wait of the drill do the cutting.

  • ok....just making an observation

  • rolf week drill prees altho that size hole saw has a lot of space to grab the pece with or he had it geared rong

  • I really like your vids. They are really useful.

  • cutting a hole in plastic generates a lot of heat to the point of melting. he really needs to run the hole saw at around 200 rpm..

  • no speed control on it Gnosis

  • Would I be able to use a hole saw on my Xbox 360 case?

  • He's running that drill way too fast!!

  • oh trust me that drillpress has sit ass load of power its just belt driven its the belts slipping

  • STATIC-X ftw! :D

  • pins in holes

    PUN

  • i wish i have that tool...

  • I love the music for the outro ! =D

  • where is the safety equipment ?

  • in the garage

  • actually 100 yr old warehouse :)

  • @fellips fags use safety equipment..

  • in the shop :)

  • @fellips no need for safety euuipment hes a professional lol

  • haahahahh cuttin ur own holes? ha that shit is old skool. great vid though for doin it hands on. 5 stars

  • probably should change your drill press belt setting for more torque. I hate drilling 120mm fan holes into a steel case with a hand drill. I have a huge drill press but I cant get the case to fit on the drill press in any way.. :(

  • *Bill is wearing invisible saftey glasses" lol

  • now, to apply that to acrylic... hope my drill press spins fast enough....

  • fan hole,blow hole,ass hole

  • you want a slow speed when drilling plastic or acrylic. You can melt the surrounding area and make your cut ugly or scarred

  • cool idea, ill try.

  • YES! I'm coming to a workshop on December 15th!
