I love this song... I remember that a few years ago I used to identify perfectly with this song and "Welcome to my Life" ... I had absolutely no friends at school, and life at home wasn't easy at all... no matter how hard I tried I could never really satisfy my father and always had to hear him shout and complain about things that I did wrong (even though at school I was an all A student)...nevertheless he did end up changing (long story) , and my life after high school became much better :)
