It was good, but watching this only made me open a window with Brian Stokes Mitchell and Audra. LOVE THEM, but liked this. Still, I saw Norm Lewis sing live and he is phenomenal. I just have this song set in my head.

this is what I am talking about that version with ummm bryn terfel and renee fleming yick....while terfel was pretty good... voice was hearty and full renee sound ...well... very very "white" ie. much to proper sounding for this piece. it was an instance of her opera backround not helping her.

i like his voice arguably more than mitchell his vibratto is faster and just a bit more lyrical than stokes mitchell

It's too bad the performance of this song on Rosie's talk show keeps being removed from YouTube. It's incredible to watch, but I guess either Rosie or the owners of the rights to the show are being stingy. It's especially good to hear Audra sing this piece here in this video though.
