Ah the dashboard is gret, my dad used to have beautiful red BX (not gti tho) i used to love that car, he has Citroen CX 2.4GTI which is even better really.
Thanks! The 1.6 GTI is pretty much the same 115hp engine as in 205 GTI or Visa GTI. It was only sold in Finland and some other country which I can't remember. The normal 1.6's have like 90hp or so.
Nice engine but the low-end torque is kind of poor.
The 1.6 16v engine I have in my Clio has just so much low end torque. I was pleasantly surprised the first time i drove it. Feels even more powerful than some diesels i drove...
Hey...We had a few 1.6 BX GTI's here in the UK...You hardly ever see ANY BX's anymore!
I have 3 Peugeot 309's, my 1.6 GRI has the same 115 BHP XU5JA engine...My 1.6 GLX has a 92 HP XU52C engine which is the same but with a twin choke carb instead of injection...I have replaced the original solex with a new Webber...Makes so much difference!
There is a BX for sale close to me...Only a 1.6 RE but only has 1 owner and done 39K miles...If I had room I'd buy it today! :)
