wow - shows that a guy can keep the female perspective of the original without irony or effeminacy - just a guy singing a song about the pleas of a woman : "now every woman I see is a potential threat" - by doing so he keeps the authenticity of the original - its a powerful rendition precisely because its a precise replica lyrically
