Hey,I Really like this to protect my ps3 from power surges.Befor buying this I would like to now if the powerstation would get fried if it gets hit by a power surge or will it keep working the next time it gets hit by another power surge?I'm just wondering because I heard some less expensive power bars that protect from surges will get fried and they'll be useless and the buyer will have to buy another.

Also I have another question. I see there is like a mini usb at the right side of the stand. Do you know what is the purpouse of it?

Can you connect the usb cable from the mini usb to the ps3 USB, to make it work as a hub?

@fwachei We know the spot you are talking about. There is a spot on the side that LOOKS like a mini USB connection would fit perfectly but there's no plug in. It's solid plastic. Perhaps at one point Monster planned on adding hub functionality and decided against it.

Hi, does this means that I won't be able to connect the PS3 Eye on one of the 4 USB ports?

In Amazon features it says this:

4 USB ports also acts as USB expansions for additional peripherals such as guitars, drum sets, etc.

@fwachei Unless Monster has changed the product since our review, the four USB ports are not a hub, meaning there is no pass-through connection to one of the active USB ports on the PS3. The four ports on the Monster are for charging only.
