Fuck the 21st century! 80s rule the world bros! too bad I wasnt born in them... and I'm a teenager who was born in the wrong time, like my birth was 30 years late
i really fucking wish i was born in the 70s....so i'd be a teenager when this movie came out and i'd have all these posters up in my room of Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald...all the cast. Just imaging that makes me wanna relive the 80s. am i the only one that would love to relive them??!
Hey can someone please tell me where i can watch the movie online? me and my sister are big fans of this movie and we havent seen it in years since we've never seen it preview in tv:( please i would really appreciate it thank you:)
I learned three very important lessons from this movie:
- There'd be no engineering without trigonometry.
- Never judge a person purely by a first impression.
- And teachers have no peripheral vision and lack the aural sensibilities necessary to hear large crowds of squeaky-shoed youths sprinting through echoey hallways at distances measuring mere inches, unless, of course, they're concurrently singing about wanting to be an airborne ranger.
THIS MOVIE DEFINED WHAT IS WAS TO BE A TEENAGER IN THE EIGHTIES..EVEN THOUGH THE CAST WAS ALL WHITE..IT APPLIED TO ANY RACE, ASIAN, BLACK MUSLIM..CHINESE..GROWING UP IN THE EIGHTIES WAS AN AWESOME AND CONFUSING TIME!
@qu7aker The Song was cut to almost less than a minute because of the scene duration also this track seems to be ripped from the original soundtrack, Music in movies sounds different because of the audio encoding which compresses the sound thus some of the voice and instruments end up sounding different in the movie than on the Soundtrack Album, Maybe in the Bluray (A Technology that benefits from having almost everything uncompressed) version the sound is more accurate to the original master.
Great song, AWESOME MOVIE!! One of the best teenage movies ever made and my favorite. Bender was excellent. Without his character, the movie would have flopped.
yea, knowing todays movie producer's they'd make some gay cartoon version, or a remake of this movie that would be TOTALLY irrelevant to the original movie, as in it wouldnt make sence nor relate to the original movie...Money wasted.
@DrPhilMusic ya it would have to take place in the 80s but it still wouldnt be as good u know a lot of movies are doing that lately tho having them take place in the 80s
@MrChaosmage Yeah Mr. Huges wanted one with them olders. I think the best way to do it would have been to use a delete secene of the janitor Carl talks with Vernon about where the five kids will be in the future. From the reading that delated it chould have worked IMHO.
@DrPhilMusic i hope they dont, i even heard a terrible rumor that they are trying to and that they want kristin stewart to play allison, HELL TO THE FUCKING NO!!!!!!!! shes gonna kill my favorate character

Heh, my friends call this kinda music 'the stuff my grandparents listen to' (a real understatement and misconception) and I tell 'em "and you like rap? overrated."
Agreed. I mean aside from the actors and the music, there's nothing really too engaging about the movie since there's not much of a plot. All its about is a bunch of high-schoolers who spend an entire day in detention for whatever it is they did wrong in school. But be that as it may, this movie is a cult-classic. Besides, at least the music is great.
This is the song where they all start dancing and jammin around. I always loved this song. Catchy sound, inspirational lyrics, that's the spirit of the 80s.
when i heard about a remake from here i went crazy and looked it up on imdb and wikipedia and google. Its not a real remake its called Bumbed.
