Except in this case. The spine's actually metal on this release, and IIRC the Japanese one just has plastic. Plus the Dr. Arkeville accessory is properly colored.

The one time Hasbro actually got it right. Well, almost; they could've done away with the hip kibble.

It isn't. This is one of the rare occasions where a Hasbro release is more accurate than a TakaraTomy release. The Japanese version was more accurate to a real version of Starscreams altmode, as opposed to the toy or G1 character model.

well, that starscream is a repaint of a jet coloured grey, then you have him repainted to skywarp and a new one, coming out as Thundercracker

it has a different face on each side, you can rotate the head to get a different expression. some have a qc error where the 2 sides are the same head

Starscream is suspended via invisible thread. The green screen is simply a piece of posterboard folded against a wall.
