I could listen to her sing for hours, i could listen to her talk for days, and I could listen to her LAUGH 24/7! She is just one of those people if you are down or just in a blah mood- listen to her and you smile and just are in a much better mood. :) JUST MY FAVORITE PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!!

then i read how people laffed till they nearly cried at Cher's laughter, when she really loses it -- and then i was laughing and crying at the same time...

Well I guess You'll find out when Gregg croaks whether she cared enough to have the reaction she did to Sonny's croaking. See if she does a special about Gregg, bawls in public, consults a psychic and gives a eulogy at his funeral. Gregg is single again -big surprise--he's a major womanizer and looks like Santa Clause now. Maybe she can go for round 2 and nauseate and alienate the Allman Bros fans again:) However, Gregg likes them young now.

Gregg will always have a special love for Cher and she for him. They share a wonderful child in Elijah as well. It hurts me that people have to compare every relationship against something else!

That's why I said she should date the dude again. Gosh, don't get upset over my sarcastic attitude. I just don't think old Gregg really thought of his time with Cher as much more than a blip on the map. He's said as much and has many other children other than Elijah. I imagine his other kids would like to be acknowledged as well and they probably think their mother's had special relations with Gregg too. He's just one of those types that really, really likes women in general.

Granted there is truth in what you say. But I feel your attitude seems callous for some reason to the love and gentleness it takes to create a child and marry. Most people don't take intimacy and the depth that exudes in love songs lightly. This is not a column about Allman & Woman so I will stop out of respect for the late Sonny Bono.

Oh I guess this is a type of memorial for Bono? Well, you mentioned Gregg first a page or two back I do know him a bit, so I popped in. I LOVE the negative marks!!! They're great!!. You guys and gals are too sensitive. Go check out the Google Groups after cher made her negative comments about the GOP. That's some nasty stuff. I don't think you can handle it. Cher is famous for voicing whatever opinion she wants and is applauded for it, you guys should follow your idol's example.

I feel like you're romanticizing something that wasn't all that meaningful. They or she may have thought so at the time, but having a child does not make a relationship *special*. I never really hear Cher mention Gregg? Just very briefly, and he absolutely doesn't like talking about her. He's aware of the negative impact that relationship had on his career.

He has a special love for the three other mother's of his children too. Just because they aren't CHER doesn't mean they aren't special too ya know. He has some illigitimate children as well. He also has special love for their mother's. It's all very wonderful, beautiful and special.

I wish people would use "out of wedlock." It sounds much nicer and when children are wanted and LOVED by AT LEAST ONE parent and in this case TWO...they are LOVED and I just think that the word itself "illigitimate" is awfully harsh.

Yet it is possible for people to turn over a new leaf, make amends for the past, apologize, start anew. I think Gregg looks great now and I would not say like "Santa" [as Santa is often overweight] but I would not say unlike Santa--because Gregg seems generous-spirited with friends & family and his wonderful songs & music.

He does look a lot like Santa to me. I just saw him at the Beacon about a month ago. Hey, we're all getting older, nothing wrong with looking like Santa. My bro looks like Colonel Sanders and never used to. I obviously like The Allman Bros. Still think Gregg is Gregg though. Hitting on young girls and doing his thing. He has really bad sciatica as well. He was walking with a cain and favoring his good leg. Whatever. I'm not into all this love and goodwill crap LOL.
