  • how long did it take you to blowdry with the diffuser?

  • @TheKkchica About 5-8 min

  • 0:30 You look like Demi Lavoto. :P (if i spelt it right)

  • you look like demi lovato 0:29 .. i think

  • @0ojo01 thats what i thought lol

  • Hey just a quick question. Does the product leave your hair nice and soft? as if nothings in your hair?? just wondering. I like my hair wavy but I hate putting in moose and stuff cause my hair gets too stiff or too greasy

  • @eunhae8 The product definitely doesn't leave your hair greasy or hard. It's a sticky product, so when you dry it, the after effect is kind of just touchable defined waves

  • @danalovesmakeup thank you!

  • what song is that called in you tutorial?

  • @mexiebabe24 It's a song my brother and his music group made haha. I'm not sure what it's called

  • :D! Yay, I'm so glad that somebody pointed out that not all asians have stick-straight hair! I would get asked in school how I would get my hair curly, & I would tell everybody it's natural & they'd be like "But, you're asian..." SO?! Just Cause Im asian doesn't mean that I can't have natually curly hair! (:

  • Cool video I like your hair and your a very pretty girl or Woman! Heheh idk?..

  • You kind of look like Demi Lovato in the still pic. lol

  • your hair barely has any wave to it.

your make up looks great !

    XOXO

  • lol texting while blow-drying hair... im going to have to try that :)

  • @raacchiiee Well obviously you didn't read the description that said "How to style Naturally Wavy or Curly Hair". Don't be rude

  • Thanks for the video, you look so pretty without makeup also you have nice skin,my best friend is asian and mostly all of them have nice skin.

  • Love the video btw:P

  • Those arent even curls.. Its more like wavy hair...

  • ive tried this style before...but i come out looking like a lion lmao

  • i think the first picture you showed is totally diffrent what your hair looked like at the end. I have naturally wavy hair and its always frizzy and i have SO MUCH HAIR, i wish i could scrunch it but i have have tried alot of things and nothing works!

  • im jealous i wish i had your hair! <3

  • You are very lucky to be a curly haired Asian. I bet straight haired ones totally envy your gorgeous curly/ wavy hair. You're special and this tutorial was very helpful :)

  • @Kisstal946 Thank you so much! That was very sweet, it made me feel very good about myself :)

  • @danalovesmakeup hi i just thought id say that this was so helpful! i'm part asian and because of this video, i got a diffuser! now my hair doesnt look weird, it looks wavy and defined. thank you so so so much! i subscribed by the way (:

  • Omg your hair is soo gorgeous!

  • Honey, I would kill for hair like that.

  • I am Asian (Vietnamese and Chinese) and I have Hair that is wavy than this :P so yeah, not all Asians have straight hair there are like five that don't.......

  • @monkeyhope12 THANK YOU! It's stereotyping to say Asian people have to have straight hair. We come in many different forms as well!

  • @danalovesmakeup hey u go 4 da LA lakers, ahah me 2!:)

  • beautiful.

we have exactly the same type of hair! haha

  • Girl you are GORGEOUS without makeup. <3 Don't let people who are jealous tell you otherwise. Beautiufl <3

  • @Hairstylist2000 Wow. And what did you gain by telling me this? I happen to think I look the most beautiful without makeup on. Thanks for the input, mysterious critic of my life ;) And by the way, you don't prevent offending someone by saying "no offense," and then proceed to offend them. Just a word of advice. :)

  • @Hairstylist2000 No offence, but you're a hateful person. She's beautiful with and without make up.

  • @Hairstylist2000 you spelled offense and gorgeous wrong... you're a jerk and an idiot!!

  • @Hairstylist2000 No offence, but don't even imagine you'd look better in any way.

But very brave to post something like, while you upload videos of urself, i have to admit.

  • so beautiful! gunna try out the bed head stuff asap! the redken curling stuff is AMAZING too

  • wtf she's asian shouldn't she have straight hair?

  • @mecra4 lmao, that's what I always asked myself as I grew up with straight-haired asian girls

  • I have wavy hair that looks more like natural bed head. This really helped in the volume department

  • When I was like 4 I had naturally curly hand and as I got older my hair started to turn wavy and every time I brushed my hair out it would be so frizzy and I never knew why but know that I have seen ur vid I know why . Thanks so much .:) I'm going to start doin this to my hair!!!

  • @thebedazzledbeauty00 You're welcome, I'm so glad this helped!!

  • haha, i like how she texts some1 during the vid :P

  • how can you not notice your hair is naturally curly?!

  • really nice tutorial! I really like the music too :)

  • Can yo do a vidoe on your make up Foundation rotine plzz

  • how do you typically get your hair cut?

  • You are soooo cute!!! And I totally love your hair!!! :) :)

  • can you do a tutorial on your make up ?

  • your gorgeous !

  • Thank you!

  • to get a beachy, wavy hair look like this is it a good idea to get layers at the hair salon??

  • do you have real curly or just wavy hair??

  • @miisskaren aah, I would say I have really tight waves. They don't spiral like curls, but they're tight bouncy waves :P

  • Should I sleep over night with them as my hair are really curly and poofy?

  • @Sashuuuuuuu Hi! At night, I usually scrunch all of my hair on top of my head and clip it so it stays nice and voluminous/bouncy/frizz-free when I wake up :)

  • @danalovesmakeup u mean in a bun?

  • @Sashuuuuuuu i don't actually twist it into a bun, I flip my hair upside down and then gather and scrunch all my hair into my fist and then clip it down on top of my head

  • @danalovesmakeup ok got it. Thanks :)

  • @Sashuuuuuuu ur welcome!

  • does that stay like that the whole day or is it going to frizz up later???

  • @Dw0rld90 Stays all day :) The sticky product prevents any frizz

  • Wow, I knew you were filipina! You look gorgeous btw.

I live in the Philippines and the weather is just unpredictable here. Would you recommend using a diffuser? I have a naturally wavy hair too.

Ugh, I could really use defined curls especially I'm now preparing for work. I airdry my hair, I used to put mousse but I got rid of it. Now I just use boar bristle brush every night and it helps tame frizz.

I'd love to try ur products but bed hed are hard to find here.

  • @missfraudster thanks so much! I definitely recommend a diffuser if you have wavy hair. you don't have to use bed head, you can use gel, mouse, or some other holding agent. I definitely wouldn't recommend brushing your hair every night just because it'll fluff and separate your waves, I usually only brush it right before a shower to get rid of knots and loose hair. Filipinas represent! :)

  • @danalovesmakeup I already bought a diffuser. I can tell that it really helps my hair find its waves. Thanks <3

But I still can't get it right, I end up with frizzy hair. Probably because I dont completely dry my hair. I guess my hair is too thick for just two sections? --(I tried doing 4 sections but its a pain.) I'm using the lowest setting possible for my hair, and drying my hair seem to take ages.

How come when you scrunch your hair after, your hair doesn't frizz? That's really amazing.

  • thx\

  • what are the layers in your hair how many layers?

  • is this the same for short hair.. well not short medium....

  • @unicornsareawsomev1 yes! Diffusing is to prevent frizz, no matter what length

  • looking forward to seeing ur new videos.....lol thanx:)

  • @SydneyBardwell haha well my hair is straighter when it's wet because the water is weighing it down. I assure you, all I did was blowdry my hair in front of the camera!

  • did you perm your hair? I really want my hair to be like yours!

  • @dkarent Thanks so much, girl! I've never permed my hair, so I have no clue how to style that haha :) Good luck if you decide to do it!

  • your hair is amazing xDD

  • @101ILoveMarina Thanks a lot, girl! <3

  • i love this video, i have naturally curly hair, i hope this works. im thinking about buying both the diffuser and the bedhead gel stuff. thank you

  • @chyeahh1617 You're welcome! Let me know how it turns out, I'd love to know! <33

  • ur text box in the video says u made a mistake and then says that styling curly and wavy hair is the same??? no it is not honey...if u have wavy/loose curls maybe....but tight curls no way!! I wish i could do the same styling as my straight haired/wavy haired friends

  • @EclecticPalette Haha, sorry for the confusion, but my roommate had super tight curls and she styled her hair exactly the same! I guess it's preference of how you like to style it :)

  • you look alot like demi lovato, I was thinking at first "Demi is doing a video tutorial on curly hair??!!" haha

  • @Moonlightdreams14 Maybe she is, maybe she isn't *wink wink*

  • gorgeous curls!!<3

  • @britneyspears37 Thank you!

  • demi lovato...

  • lol the blow dryer looks like a gunnn...

  • Oh wow your hair is beautiful! Thanks for the awesome tutorial!

  • @lphillips06 Thanks so much, you're welcome!

  • how long will those waves last?

  • @heelsKICKharder Until you wash it again :) As long as you sleep with your hair scrunched on top of your head with a clip each night

  • The only part I'm a little confused about is what you were pointing at on the blow dryer? Do you do hot/high, or warm/high? Does it even matter? lol

  • @NowhereManish I don't think it matters, I was pointing at hot because I'm an impatient person and I like to dry my hair fast. Whatever you prefer is up to you :)

  • what song is this

  • @kimmyko23 they're beats by my brother's music group The Profound Sounds called "Lounge"

  • How long does the whole process take for you.?

  • @stunningazalwayz about 10-15 min :) More like 10.

  • thank you sooo much!!!:) it was just was i was looking for!!

  • Oh myy thanks for this tutorial! :O This helped a lot! I've always went to school with my hair looking frizzy and jsndfkjansdkjfn but nao all the popular girls ask me what I do with my hur. :3 They always ask me if my hair's natural and i say yeeesss. haha.

    Mahal din kita. :P

  • @jannmechille Good for you, girl! That makes me so happy hearing my video made you rock your hair like a diva, you have no idea!

  • (continued..) And your haircut I really liked. What are you saying that you are so well shaded hair? They shaded the entire length? Help me please, because I do not want to go back to the hairdresser and cut out differently than I wanted.

  • @kreska32324 Hi, I'm so sorry I'm replying so late! At this point, I was cutting my own hair because I was broke and needed to save money haha :) I would ask your hairdresser to get shorter layers (like the top layers should be up to the middle of your hair), so your curls will have dimension and bounce instead of the flatness it gets when it's one length. I also had framing layers around my face and side-swooping bangs. I hope this helps, and I hope it's not too late replying to you!!

  • Hi, I speak a little English, but I hope you understand me;)

In this film, I really like your hair and I wanted to ask you what they are and how long you clip them (what you say hairdressers). I have naturally curly hair, but I can never explain how I want to be a hairdresser cut.

  • UR HAIr IS bangin !!!!l its !! goreeeeeeegues thank god u dnt got nappy or tight curls ur hair is wavy and beachy beautiful

  • @Leidysings Haha, you're so funny! :D My boyfriend has tight curls, so my babies might get something in between, lol!

  • can you still use bed head control freak...?

  • @Bam061510 I've never used it myself, if it's a sticky product, most likely you can :) Let me know how it turns out!

  • can you still use bed head control freak...?

  • woah, you kinda remind me of demi lovato!

  • can you do a makeup tutorial?

  • @ttwizlerzz I'll put it on my list!! Thanks for the request!

  • I love the change:)

  • @ttwizlerzz change? :)

  • LOL i loved the beginning "story" i was just like you! i always blew dry and brushed out my hair in my late elementary school ages and always was a triangle head -_-

  • @meeee1992 I think all of us non-straight haired girls went through some kind of horror hair story :D I'm glad my story can relate!

  • Love this tutorial. All my life until the end of highschool I was PISSED that I had wavy/curly hair. If it wasn't until my Fiance saw me for the first time straight out of the shower with natural hair and told me it was beyond beautiful. Now I enhance my waves/curls and I LOVE it! I've never tried the bed head stuff though, probably going to buy that today. I also love John Freida Curls Perfecting spray. Just spray on to damp hair and let air dry! SO easy.

  • @leepsz Oooh, I'll try that spray next time! I agree with you: there are so many girls that straighten their hair b/c they hate their natural hair, and they have no idea how flat or boring they're making their hair. If they know how to work it, their natural hair texture puts character, bounce, and texture more beautiful than any hair tool... God knew what he was doing when he gave you that hair! :)

  • I also have really curly hair! Check out my video to see how to do an everyday style. It's a little different from yours but it works great!

  • my hair is full of wanna-be curls....=(

  • @dttapers101 I'm sure your natural hair texture is beautiful just for you!

  • You hair is the prettiest hair ive ever seen!

  • @XoXiLikeMakeupXoX Thank you, that's one of the nicest comments I've ever gotten!

  • @danalovesmakeup ((; its true um jelouse!

  • @XoXiLikeMakeupXoX I AGREE!

  • I remember wen I use to get so pissd cus I didnt kno y my hair was curly and then I figured out how to use the Internet -.-

  • i had the sam problem until i got in sixth grade!

  • @whateveromglolfyiwtf haha mine was until 10th! (sad it took so long!)

  • Great video. I just need to get used to styling like this and get me some Bed Head! Thanks!

  • @escapist11 You're welcome, let me know how it turned out!

  • i tried this and my curls came out really curly like crazy ringlets and poofy :( can you offer any advice? i would like it more like yours!

  • @jazzy8807 Sorry I replied so late! You might have to go exploring into a different product that I'm using, something that controls frizz a lot more than the bed head manipulator does. Maybe like a more milky, cream product that's made for curls? You're just gonna have to try different products out to find the best product for your particular hair <3

  • hahah omg your intro is soo me in elementary- 7th grade. cringe!

  • @ohbabybabylove Haha, it was 10th grade for me! double cringe!

  • At the beginning of the video you look like Demi Lovato.

  • do you know how long this took?

  • @PeaceAndDogz88 about 10 min!

  • hey in that last pic you kinda look like demi lavato

  • Comment removed
