@Basalisk172 you need to play guitar to get that buckethead is way better, this video isnt really beautiful i agree, but thats because people dont go to concerts that the guitarist plays beautiful slow shit, they come to see guitarists going apeshit, shreding the shit out of guitar and doing weird faces, also if you look at the scales
slash - pentatonics, blues scale

I know buckethead's better than most bands out there, including Iron Maiden (worst singer i've ever listened to, and terrible band. Most generic and recycled music i've heard). I don't give a fuck what your opinion is, although you will have the urge to comment and i'll have to click the little box and select 'delete' in my gmail.
Do go on your rampage of thinking your guitarist/band is better though, I enjoy feeding flamers.

wow, way to be a dumbass. im with you on buckethead being great, but you are a HYPOCRITE if you're dissing on iron maiden for recycling while defending buckethead. iron maiden has some patterns they fallback to, but they keep it original 95% of the time. early iron maiden was repetitive, but not so much anymore. on top of that, anybody calls bruce dickinson the worst singer they have ever listened to is no more musically educated than lil wayne.

I am a great fan of buckethead and I think he is an awesome guitarist and like his work alot more than slash's work but I still think Slash is better in Guns and roses, bucketheads style doesn't quite fit in gnr.

yeah, you got me. a couple weeks ago i laughed at myself when i thought of the overwhelming number of idiots who get so pissed off when someone claims Slash's "superiority". I do like Slash's playing, but Buckethead could play circles around him any day. So much better.

buckethead is one of the few individuals who will ever be born who can, without a doubt, play absolutely anything that can ever be thought of on guitar, ever (maybe another couple of "ever"s for good measure...) and to all those who hate on the "passionless shredders", when done well and in the right spots, shredding is just as emotive as any "slow jam"! look at slash, dime, clapton, vai...these guys know when to hold back and when to let it fly off into fuckin oblivion!
