  • where you from. Im alwasys on that path

  • @rocknroll700 lancaster pennsylvania

  • I have a 2001 and have been past 90 mph and it was by accident and had more to give I would have not noticed but the ride got so smooth and the steering got super tight so I look at the speed finally so 100mph even with a 6 as high geared as they are is reasonable

  • @SuperWalkem...yeeahhhhh i have a 01 1500 5.9 and it tops out at 116......you could strap a jet engine to that and its still not going 195.

  • What a retard, ya I put a chip on my moped and I got it up to 359 mph

  • I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.2. I had the same problem with getting any speed. Mind you I fixed it with headers, magnaflo exhaust, K&N air intake as well as a few other goodies but the biggest difference was the Hypertech programmer. Disables the speed govenor. Since this,I have had it up to 195 mph (354 kph).

  • @SuperWalkem now thats something iwould have to see on video to beleive lol

  • @SuperWalkem I call bullshit.

  • @SuperWalkem bull shit. not even an idiot would believe you

  • @SuperWalkem 354kph??? I think you need to check out a conversion chart.

  • my gma van will do 125 x)

  • he jizzed in his pants at :43

  • impressive

  • lucky bastard my dodge ram van can only go 100. i got a 1995 with the 5.2L.

  • i can start at 100 and hit 130 in my chevy faster than he gets 105

  • ajaja segun van muy recio y no alcanzan al carro negro que va adelente jaja

  • @LUARPAPU no comprendo

  • now.. blow a tire... have fun!

  • @mrfirewolf we would have been fine. centripetal force would have held the tire where it needed to be until we slowed down

  • 6 Cylinder?

  • Who do think make better trucks, Dodge, Ford or Chevy?

  • lmfao 250 syndrome!! I bet the people getting passed were just like wtf

  • pooch

  • How reliable are the 1999 dodge rams? I'm thinking of buying one for under 4000

  • @rudge1982 we drove ours 11,000 miles with no problems. it was rusty though. sold it for 3000 when we got back from our trip.... had 90k on it i beleive. that was 4 years ago. $4k seems pricey

  • @rudge1982

We had one and i had more problems with that they anything else. It was a 99 1500 sport with the 5.9. I had to replace the tran at 100,000, the cat at 110,000, and the waterpump surp belt and timing chain close after 110,000. Never again will i buy a dodge.

  • @jahmm14

besides the transmission, those are common maintenance items that should have been dealt with around 80k miles not 110,000 lol

  • @SupraGhost

Lol besides the transmission going out....right considering the transmission replacement for the truck is more than the truck is worth. Good luck with Dodge then, hope you make out better then I did.

  • @jahmm14 we went 12k miles with no issues. your transmission going bad is a result of abuse or neglect. a new one cost a couple hundred bucks and only takes a few hours to replace.

as with almost any vehicle, the reliability is a result of the owner, not the car.

  • my moms mini van goes faster then that on the highway 185 km

  • @rjclarkevideos Same here with the Landcruiser 3.0 (4cyl) diesel

  • @jan585 haha really

  • @rjclarkevideos was it packed full of thousands of pounds of gear? didnt think so

  • @SupraGhost actually yea it was packed with about 2000 lbs extra weight. but we sold it and bought a new truck and a old sports car

  • i have two of these dodges. the big 1 ton 15 passengers. Great for road trips! :)

  • thats a fuckin ram van not the truck even if the motor is the same the van is alot heavier

  • wow u guys are pathetic fake, first of all those vans cant go over 100 ive rested them myself and if u were goin 100+ u would be flying by those mile markers, and passing people like crazy fast so make it a little more belevable next time

  • @MrMicas101

100mph is not that fast.... lol

  • @MrMicas101

uhh lol. why would we fake this? have you ever gone 100mph? its not really that fast. i dont have the editing skills to make a fake speedometer. i can just ad titles and music and stuff.

  • @SupraGhost i cant even do that, rofl!

  • @SupraGhost Lol Some people eh...

  • @MrMicas101

Not fake. Ive owned two of these vans and toured the country. They'll get up to speed. :)

  • haha bet that wasnt too good for your engine to be at those high of rpms.

  • pretty good ive only topped my 05 ram to 97mph nd its a v8 but ihavent tryd top speed on it yet

  • @HOPPERFZR oh noz!!! the cops is gonna find us! LOL dont write stupid stuff on my videos. this was on a closed course at summit point raceway.

  • Comment removed

  • @HOPPERFZR so are you lol. thats why i dont really care. you have no idea what your talking about

  • @HOPPERFZR Do you honestly think a cop is going to get a hold of youtube to find out where this guy lives, search his records to find out this vehicles liscence number, mail him a ticket and go to court just to have this guy say that his speedo was broken, which there is no proof that it wasn't. Do you think someone would do this when they could go out and find somebody doing 150 mph within 10 minutes of thier shift. I really hope you weren't serious when you said this.

  • damn i was waiting for the sirens lol but they never came

  • My dad had the hi top version and it was a beast with a v-8

  • turn overdrive off

  • those vans are amazing for road trips, and lots of fun. they are bed rooms on wheels lol what more could you ask for lol

  • @AmericanBadAss414 fuck you, pussy.

  • @AmericanBadAss414 Yeah but not all are rooms. Some are Pervert's House's.

  • i've never had my dash crack on my '97. I live in the south. Of course, I've always kept armor all on my cars interior, about once a year.

  • i was waiting for the oh shit moment lol where it blows a rod though the hood

  • yeah no crap me too... lol

  • nahh not for a dodge V6, they bullet proof

  • niiiice!

  • For a 3.9, in a heavy ass van, thats pretty damn good. Considering its shaped like a brick.

  • yes and loaded down with 5 weeks worth of vacationing equipment.

  • No doubt.

  • Has your dashboard fell apart ?

  • no lol

  • my 98 dodge has seems to be typically made of cheap plastic its 800+ to replace it

  • I have no more dashboard .When I flung the broken pieces at the wall it sounded like glass breaking .I ordered a plastic cover held in place with adhesive, looks like a dash, cost $177,coming in in 3 wks.

  • ill look in to that i currently have a dashmat but if someone puts something on it im fucked

  • pulling it up like that is just really bad on the motor.

  • engine plays a big part yes but the gears has a big to do also. I have a 94 chevy reg cab step side truck with a 4.3 v6 and a 4L60E trans it does ok but itl only run bout 87 mph and thats with the pedal down. Its nothing fancy but it get me down the road and will haul a bed full of dry oak logs ranging from 2 to 2 and a half feet long and bout 6 to 8 inches in diameter. it had bout 1100 estimated. It was squating a lil but it never gave me a minutes prob.

  • I had a 93 Oldsmobile cutlass with a 3.3 v6 that would run 115 . It was a fast car for being stock. was racing a Ford explorer with a 302 it pulled off and left me. Gears makes a difference. BTW the explorer was modified a lil.

  • 115 is not fast for a car

  • you have to look at the trype car it was to. It wasnt a sports car.

  • @SupraGhost Its an old person car. going 40 would be speeding...

  • your kidding me right my truck is a 98 5.9L and i get to 120 eeeeeeasy i do it everyday

  • what is your point? this is not a v8. its a little v6 in a big heavy ugly van. your friends probably dont think you are as cool as you might think

  • lol that thing was heating up!

  • obviously we are very proud of our speed demon

  • I'm impressed! Considering the altitude, 3.9 v6, and 3 speed auto, that's not bad at all. I do wonder if there is any electronic governing system on the ecu though.

  • lol, how is that impressive? 3.9L and a top end of 110? christ that horrible... LOL. must have been scary in that thing!!!

  • consider the weight and areodynamics

  • my lawn mower could out run that

  • omg this is a slow car ... my fault ...a slow tractor

  • damn was it floored? not bad for a 6 banger.

  • yeah for about 5 minutes lol

  • No seatbelt? Passing lane without passing. That's ILL-E-GAL!!! I went 108 in a Prius. My Harley goes 112, but hard to vid it!

  • its not illigal to drive in a passing lane

plus there are NO cops on the open roads of colorado

  • He was passing people, they were going the speed limit and they were going 100+, if its controlled there is nothing wrong. Its only illegal if you get cought. Please dont live another day since your the liberal POS Prius

  • that nothing my bike can go 160 as far as i know ran out of road to go more

  • It's a joke

  • i sure as hell hope your bike can outrun a full size van....

  • I have a 1999 Dakota V6 Magnum 3.9L stock. Its a five speed and it cuts the fuel at 115, if I shut off the automatic shut off it would do 130 easy

  • we had 5 weeks of camping equipment in this van. it was loaded down. plus its a van. but have fun with your little v6 truck lol

  • jajaja your dakota is nothing

    i have a 1991 ramcharger motor 360

5.9 l my ram is the beast

  • Hey, its a good truck, but I didn't mention I also own a Dakota R/T with the 5.9L V8 Magnum (360) so I know what a good engine it is. I am a huge Dodge fan, I'm not bashing anything.

  • yes men the 360 is old but magnifique

  • yes it is, an outstanding engine

  • dodge vans are slow as helly my grandpa had a work van 1500 and he floored it then it toped out at about 85

  • Sure, maybe if he had an old Dodge Tradesman Value wagon, with a 1bbl carb and 3-speed transmission. The vans have the same powertrain as the trucks, so the only real difference is 2WD and weighs more.

  • we had a '75 Tradesman 100 with slant six, 1bbl, 4.10 rear-end, and 3 speed auto. Top speed on that thing was around 80..

  • Lol

  • that thing is a petaphiles dream!

  • hahha lmfao

  • LOL!!!!!!! sounds like fun

  • damn that thing is fast lol

  • Assuming that's a 4-speed... what's the rear end ratio? I still don't know my 96's top speed [4spd, 5.2L V8, 3.55 rear end]

  • i really have no clue. we sold that thing as soon as we got home from the trip

  • whyd you sell it

  • because we are 4 teenagers that went on a road trip. we dont need a huge ass van lol

  • idiots.

  • yeah sorry we know how to have a good time
