les pauls were never my thing, but these... i wouldn't mind having one :) maybe without the pickguard...or one made out of matching wood...

kitaroihin. vielä paljo maksais Sinclesonic mikit jos seuravaan kitara projektiin pistäis kiitos etukäteen.

Akzo Nobel IL500 on lakkatyyppi jota me käytetään... Yleensä spriiliukoisilla ohuilla tusseilla tulee nimmareita laiteltua... Lyijykynällä saa aika hyvin mustaan tehtyä - jos tulee kiiltävä lakka päälle, koklaa vaikka. ;-) Valitettavasti SingleSoniceja (tai muitakaan mikkejä) ei pystytä tällä kohtaa myymään ollenkaan "ulos", kun just saadaan omiin riittämään...

Mahtavaa työtä juha!!

Uskaltaako kysästä puun maalaamisesta, että millä pohjustat tuon puun ettei se imaise kaikkea basea ja lakkaa itseensä? olis mielenkiintoista maalata oma kitara joskus puupaljaalta lakkapintaan.

Millasilla ruiskutusvälineillä lähteä tekemään? Sulla käytössä DeVilbiss, onko 1.3suuttimella etc?

Kiitos ja kumarrus! Hmm, tässä on tietty mahdotonta käydä läpi koko juttua, mutta käytämme kiiltäviin pintoihin (espanjan seetri) kaksikomponenttista polyuretaanilakkaa, ja sillä teemme pohjat niin että täyttyy. Fillereitä emme käytä. Ruiskullahan tuollainen kiiltävä pinta on tietty tehtävä, vaatimattomallakin pääsee alkuun. Meillä käytetään SataJettiä ja DeVilbissiä, 1.3-1.5mm suuttimilla lakoille ja värjäyksille (MiniJet) 1.2mm... Ei muuta kun opettelemaan! :-)

jep kyllä tuo ruiskuttelu tuttua hommaa on :) on tullu maalailtua ruiskulla yhtä jos toistakin, muttei puuta niin ajattelin kysästä että millä estää sen ettei puu imaise basea. tosiaan toi 2k polyuretaai/akryllilakka varmastikkin pysyy siinä pinnassa eikä imeydy niin herkästi.

Montako kierrosta tohon kitaraan kannattaisi ruiskuttaa lakkaa, riittääkö kaksi märkää, jos sen sitte vesihioo ja myllyttää

Aika erilaista on puun kanssa kuin vaikkapa autojen. Lakkausmäärä riippuu paljolti puulaadusta, avosyiset puut (esim. mahonki) vaativat enemmän lakkaa jotta syyt saa tukkoon. Usein 3-4 märkää, välihionta, toiset 3-4 märkää, mahdollinen värikerros, pintalakat, hionta, kiillotus.... Joillekin puille (kuten leppä) riittää vähempikin. Tavoite on mahdollisimman ohut lakkakerros. Autoakryylit ovat pahoja vetäytymään puun syihin, parempi olis käyttää puulle tarkoitettu kamaa.

Guitarists who are not "glued" to a Les Paul, should certainly also try your Duke de Luxe, 'cause they're quite unbelievable!

(Although I never held one of your guitars that wasn't topnotch!)
