"Lucky, No Lucky" is just another lame rip off of Japanese Television. If you don't believe me look-up: Luky, Suky or Get Fuky (LSGF) on Wikipedia. LSGF was a popular installment on the Hi-Tuchimi, the Japanese Network equivalent of the Playboy Channel. The first Rip off of LSGF happened in the 80's (Win, Lose or Draw, anyone?). i crashed with 60mph, and had 10 bone fragments...(4 at the spine, thank god minor...) 4 months later i am good as new, and going to buy my next bike soon...

i am really sick of the "you should get a car" shit... if its written for you to die, you will even if you drive a tank.

always wear a helmet/jacket/gloves, ride defensivly, and you have nothing to worry about.

Us motorcyclists are our own worst enemies. Speeding, tailgating, lane splitting, no lights on, no leathers (half the time), showing off, stunting dangerously. Lucky I've gotten old and boring. Very careful on the 1100 now. Not even a ticket in the last 15 years.

you are correct, i've had so many close calls with cars, and they are the ones who need to be more careful. i drive slow and defensively and still i have morons get close to me on my bike

Ouch! Man, you can be so careful driving a motorcycle, but really have to watch out for clueless drivers - the ones ignorant of there being motorcycles on the road.

I personally know a couple people that were killed while on their motorcycles. One was a 18 yr old neighbor - 1 blk from home - went through a green light - the other driver in a car ran the red light & hit him. My other friend was killed when a motorhome changed lanes & hit her (this was on a freeway).
