@internetgurl615 after a year of them getting used to each other the cats lost interest completely and I don't even have the top on. They ignore the guinea pigs completely. I'm very happy about that.

Wow them pigs would be scared to death and the water bottle is so close to where the cats lay and watch when the pigs go for a drink one of the cats could easily put their paw through and kill it or badly damage it

@gerbilhelper123 U should see my new updates. I took the top off because my cats stopped bothering the guinea pigs completely. They don't even go near the cage anymore.

@ibemadelyn go to petfinder . com there u can search for shelters that have guinea pigs that are near your house. I got all of mine from a shelter called CritterCorral and they were all seem by a vet and healthy before I got them :)

@Lstar8D No. You need a 2x4. My piggy shares a cage in my BIG basement and they have a LOT of space...it really nice, and anyways, they share a cage, my piggy and my sisters, in our furnished and finished basement. A 2x4 is the perfect size because they still have room to run around.

@smurfsrule08 my guinea pigs like the cats...after a year of getting them used to each other I finally took off the top and the cats actually sleep with the guinea pigs now. But I was very careful and watched my cats for a long time until I was sure it was safe.

@sweethingjess They are used to my cats. When Im home I sometimes let Littlefoot (the black and white cat) go in there and she likes to sleep with them :)

@CreativePetKeeping Aww!!! My brothers cat comes over to our house a lot and in may we have to watch for a couple of weeks and i wanna get a cover for my pigs cage cause Odin has not ever been around Dobby ( my piggy ) so I don't know how well they would do together!
