whats up with the vehicles becoming invisable when you pick them up is it just so it doesnt obstruct your view? it looks clunky some what, almost like a hack and slash. i have high hopes for this game ive imagined being a superhero as a little kid come on soe dont let me down! :)

i agree they have the monthly fee to improve the game it sucks but you would pay for bonus content for any other game plus you get the first month free to see if you even like it . pluss 15 bucks is not that bad if you can afford to buy 50 60 dollar games for your ps3 15 bcks aint bad :)just cut back on stupid crap you dont really want or need. No this game will have a 14.99 fee, and people will still play it. How do you to expect a team to upkeep the game with patches and keep the servers up and running for free? Any mmo I've ever played thats worth playing had some kind of monthly fee, so don't expect this one not to have one.

Ok, first, I'll talk about the release date: They had the release date at April/May 2010, but they recently officially changed it to Fall 2010. I've heard it was from unexpected complications, other people are saying they just feel it didn't have enough beginning content.

Now, about the fee: From the games existence, they have said it will be free. They plan on getting the money from expansion packs. I am saying this as they have said on their official site. I am not making this up.

@jaddies12 They have not given any info on that , they pushed the game to 2011 . In a way i wish we had to pay a small subcription each month , it will give us every so often something more like more cases and expantions .

i think this or champions would be fun for any console gamer,sure pc user have had such goodness for many years,but to a console gamer this could be addictive lol. im getn dcuniverse tho,i dont know any of the champions and didnt even know it was huge,i think i remember seeing a comic of champions when i was a kid,i didnt get it cause it was like generic superheroes lol.

It looks awesome and its only in the Alpha stage! One website has a pre-order purchase for DCUO with release in April '10. Others have speculated that the game will be out even earlier. While I want DCUO in my hands as soon as possible, I sincerely hope SOE doesn't release the game too early with major issues unresolved. I know they want the cash flow to be coming in; however, I would rather see a smooth transition from the word "Go". Poor launches have a way of losing the fanbase.
