PSX : Xenogears Moments - Element Mech Transformation

This is the best cinematic in XenoGears although a little unrealistic. What I don't understand is why they don't attack it as its trying to assemble. Something like this is hard in the extreme for machines to do, change shape and lock together to form a combined machine. If this were more realistic,this battle would be much easier as each individual part has to work very hard to keep itself locked in place. Most impacts it takes would cause it to fall apart.

Sad that Xenosaga couldn't compare or live up too Xenogears. Gears, in my opinion, was one of the greatest games on the Ps1.

You do know that technically xenogears is the 6th in the planned series with the xenosagas being the first three

@FacelessScribe Actually, it was supposed to be the fifth installment in a series of six. However, when the creators left SqaureEnix and joined Namco, Takahashi even stated "Now that we are under a different company, we figured we should start everything from scratch all over again". Basically, what was supposed to be a FOUR-part prequal turned into a Three-part rehash of Xenogears. Thus, Gears and Saga are two different entities now with no connection. Prequal or sequal. Sucks...but, oh well.

The sickest part here is that this is an enemy! The hero-music, the whole transformation thing, the posing in the end. Hell, I didn't want to battle this thing after that cutscene, I wanted to marry it :)

This game is Amazing. If you can find a copy of it, I highly reccomend you buy it. It is seriously the best RPG I have ever played - I even like it more than FFVII.

Hey Chilavert I was wondering that since you had alot of Xenogears videos I was hoping you can give me some insight on the game? Is it really that good of a game? and I absolutely love the mecha design for Xenogears the unit itself. But it doesnt look like it can do much, so what can it do?

yes its that good of a game, really recommend locating a copy. The story is just insane

its an rpg game with mech (the mech here are awesome) do you now a game name XENOSAGA (all 3 of them) well it got some connections in this game (well im not pretty sure) cause the kid with a ponytail who pilots the boss in XENOSAGA (episode 3) looks the same with the main hero of XENOGEARS

This one I had forgotten too!! That transformation is worthy of a spin-off super sentai series!! Men... This game is like... too much. Can't take it. But did. And those were one of the best years (well, months) of my life!!
