I am a victim of a drunk driver about 5 years ago my mom and I were hit by a drunk driver... we were pretty injured but thank God we survived... and the guy got a misdemeanor... not even a felony...
I hope the person who did this got a fair punishment and even if he didn't the best thing is forgiveness; I have learned that...

This is very sad. I have been following the story and i feel Carr should have gotten longer. This type of sentence teaches the drunks no lesson. They will still continue to drink and drive and kill innocent people without cause. I think alcohol should be outlawed and if not outlawed limited to people. We need to take an active approach to people drinking in bars and then leaving in a vehicle. All bars should be built below or next to Police Stations where the laws can be regulated.
