He seems so cheerfull and acitve, HE'S SO PRETTY. I love the people who know this kind of animal needs and give them a nice and peaceful life. I really appreciate you.
Thanks for the nice comments, we have a harness for him, he does fly outside on a 750m kite lead. No he has not died :) he's only 7 years old, he had grown slightly bigger but not much.
Beautiful touching video. I look foward to more of Ronnie. I am going to adopt a blue and gold macaw. I am looking foward to giving this bird a second chance of a loving home.
Outstanding vid im a bird lover myself with a few vids on utube and that music is very good for this vid.Its nice to see Ronnie flying with no clipped wings. A true friend you got there thanks very much for sharing :)
He is sooo beutiful! Today my baby G.W is 6 month and we training for FF and he is flying free in the house and whith a harness(20m line) in the garden,so he flying a lot.so god you say they need a lot of atension...becurse they do.And you get alot back! Cheers from Carina!
I have a grey afrrican parrot.. u cant imagine how much attention he needs to be happy... im giving him this attention but it hard and needs time.. hours everyday..
I let my amazon parrot grow his wings and fly. After 5 years together he still decided to go. left the door opn for a sedond\\\\\\\\\\\\\
I let my amazon parrot grow his wings after 5 years together. Made a mistake and left the door open one day. Something I watched and will remember till my end day.Take care of your birds. I learned the hard way.
I'm getting a rescued green-wing this week! I sooo excited!! It's my first macaw! I rescue, foster, and rehabilitate birds so I knew one would come along sooner or later! The lady I get my birds from said that she likes putting birds with me cause I have a way with them and I have time to work with them! Just remember that there are only 2 kinds of bird owners! Ones that have been bit and ones that are going to get bit! It's a huge investment so please please do ur homework b4 getting one!!!
Ronnie was bought from a family who didn't have that time to give him what he needed, when I final build him is rainfall shower room I would love to adopt. Would be nice toknlw that when I'm at work know he has little friend to play with him anymore. But yes if you can adopt do. Too many people don't do enough research, Ronnie is so playfully because I come in from work and he's straight out onto he pearch or into the shower (depending on the day) had about 6 years got him at 1 year old.
your very lucky to have such a loving GW who wants to spend all his time with you, you can see he loves you alot and he is very beautiful. its nice to see you have that special bond.
what a beautiful video of a beautiful bird. Thank you :)
Even my little green cheek is so special, I consider him to be my best friend. He lightens up my life and I feel so privileged that he is a part of it.
Parrots are so wonderful generally and Ronnie is magnificent.
he is awesome gourgeous, and he looks like he loves his person, good job, lucky bird. howd you teach him to come to you? i would love to teach my M2 to do that, beautiful,,, kris, betty, giliath, nad the rest of the flock
Ronny reminds me of my Greenwing Maui. She is a flyer too and now ten years old. You got that right about people thinking a bird is cool, and go out and buy one they don' t realize its a lifetime responsibility. I can't get my bird on cam flying because every time she sees me with it she has to stick her big head in the cam.
The music does make it seem as if he'd passed away....:P He's gorgeous. And you can tell he's well loved. Amazing wingspan! I preffer to keep small birds....like budgies LOL
my green wing is my best friend, he screams when i leave and is uber excited to see me when i get home, i wouldnt be without my stig, he is awsome and so majestic
How magnificent and gorgeous to have the in-flight scenes in slow-motion! I hope there will be more to come, please. Ronnie is a most beautiful bird! Thank you for sharing.
What an amazing video. One can see the incredible bond between you and Ronnie from these pictures alone. What a stunning bird. You two stick together, forever.
Please do TONS of research before getting a parrot. Please PLEASE RESCUE instead of buying. Can you provide an aviary? Will you accept a bird that is like having a 2 year old child for 90 years? That is an amazing bird! especially the tail and wingspan! I'm getting a great beauty too! but don't worry, I've done 2 months worth of research! But how come u put such sad music?
This is such a lovely video, and Ronnie is absolutely gorgeous. I'm so glad that you added music after they took it off. I don't understand all that yet.
Companion lol there a kid that will never grow up or leave home lol yea i have the same there great and full of surprices but not something you can lock away and forget, Charley says hello lol Great vid but scary going through the door.
I agree that they are amazing. I have a Greenwing myself. But unfortunately, many people DO regret it, and that's why sites like birdtrader and preloved are always so full of second and third-hand macaws. :(
wow. absolutely the perfect song to go with your video. Ronnie is gorgeous, & I love how you have him in slow motion. it shows in greater detail his amazing colours. you must really love him. we ourselves have 6 birds. thanks for the great view.
PLEASE READ..... Please dont just watch this video and think whhoo that looks cool, and then go out and buy a parrot, parrots ecpecially macaws can be very expensive, and require alot of attention.
