Uhg. No offense to Mika, but he should stick to his own material. I DID see the Mercury similarity, but this song just destroyed that for me. Not only does he FORGET THE DAMN WORDS, but he can't even get close to some of the notes freddie hits. His tonality is also very different, much more nasaly and in his head voice.

His own songs are amaxing, he has an incredible voice, and is just amazing!

It isnt his own song, so of course he wont know the words, or be able to sing it exactly like the guy you like!

the "guy you like" is Freddie Mercury (arguably the most amazing male vocalist in recent history) and while Mika can really sing he just doesnt have the timing or timber that made Freddie really special, I'm afraid also that forgetting lyrics, no matter whos song you are performing live is pretty bad, especially when you are singing a classic from a band you idolized. You really have to give the guy credit though, singing anything by Freddie is one of the gutsiest things any singer can attempt.

I am a huge Queen fan, and even I didn't understand half the lyrics to Killer Queen until (strangely enough) I heard cover versions on the many "We Will Rock You" musical cast recordings.

Credo che freddie si rivolterebbe nella tomba a causa di quelli che criticano un ragazzo di 24 anni a cui piace cantare e che ha una bella voce senza 1)sapere chi è 2)sapere che non è stato lui a paragonarsi a freddie mercury ,ma i giornalisti.Infatti in un video spiega che gli scoccia moltissimo essere paragonato a freddie perchè lui lo considera un re! Very interesting. Many people all over the world comparing Mikas voice with Freddie´s and indeed ´Grace Kelly´ is a very ´Queen -like´ song. Since both are singing up to the tenor and down to the bass-bariton, I don´t see why Mika shouldn´t be capable to sing Freddies songs nicely, if he only knows the lyrics.
