  • I am Doing it!!! i got a call back for Sarah And Ellen the callbacks are today!!

  • Does anyone know of a video where George's monologue is performed decently?

  • I played Henry I mine he should be angrier and more serious

  • GAH! wheres the end of the play???

    WHERES PART 4!?!?!

  • AGREED, I WANT TO SEE THE EXECUTION! And how they've done the executioner as I am playing him as well as Henry Irving. how disappointing.

  • horatio is great. a lot of times you come across people reading// playing shakespear and have no idea what they're saying. i got the impression from horatio that he does. he also brings the character of henry into it ; confident, selfish, big ego.. etc

  • nick is very experienced in shakespeare... there's scenes i put up from when we did All's Well That Ends Well, and he's in them

  • im playing George in our one act. We open tuesday. To be honest, Im really tired of it now, but its nice to see other people do it.

  • I guess this is quite a popular play to do. We're doing this play at my school. I'm Meg :)

  • i am playing samuel in this

  • Nice job. I play George in my schools production. Was just looking around for some inspiration. Nice interpretation of the character.

  • I play meg in our production

  • This is a silly play meant to be taken at face value- nothing more.

  • You're wrong, Savorist. You are so wrong....

  • Ah, you are the pretentious sort who find existentialist meaning in everything. You must discard your ego, and be able to enjoy this light-hearted play that rings true to the endearing problems actors face.

You can't look too deeply into a play like this with the length, subject matter, and specific audience in mind. A silly one-act geared towards other actors is not a commentary on life's journey. It's more of a commentary on the hectic nature of putting on a show.

    Wise up, Beaver Dang.

  • The play is a commentary on putting on a show, but it is also something more. To just ignore the possibility of a deeper meaning because the play makes you laugh is very ignorant of you.

"I was going to join the monastary right after high school, but they said I was too young and should wait. And then I stopped believing in all those things"

George is always bringing up the fact that he didn't join the monastary. The deeper meaning is in this fact. YOU need to wise up.

  • Yeah, I play Sarah, the girl in purple, in our school's one act performance. However, I think I fit the role just a little bit better than the girl in this video.

  • i play the guy in short shorts

  • Yup, i play the guy in in orange in my schools production....haha
