i don't think it's an octave. it's the singing technique being applied. the original is mostly head/throat/ voice but this vocalist is using more diaphragm ( on the lower parts ).. if u play this against the original at the same time then alternatively mute either video you'll hear it.

no, i think the vocalist is just about an octave or 2 too low, at times it does sound as she tries too hard, and it makes her go off key a little. but other than that, shit this is amazing! the synth doesn't match exactly, but its close enough, pretty damn good in my opinion as a musician, and as just a listener. also, the guitar solo was a little off too

Seriously as a musician... she's an OCTAVE or 2 low? and she might be one semi-tone off occasionally when she's trying to push the high notes but definitely not an OCTAVE

@jtjoatmon yes, as a musician, and with friends who know their stuff. we all agreed, sounds about 1 maybe 2 octaves low, as well as she does go off key during the high notes because she's trying a little too hard to push out the notes.

The vocals aren't strong enough yet the vocalist is blasting like crazy. There is no need for that, the vocalist just needs to go closer to the mike and sing normally, straining your voice when your voice can't handle it just makes things worse. Love the keyboardist ^^

I think her singing was alright, there was someone behind her singing that wasn't all that awesome though. O__o It sounded like a boy, idunno, but her backup vocals are fawked up.
