The new superstar for DS is actually called Kirby Squeak Squad.

@Q3PWNS Umm...actually, it's Kirby Super Star ULTRA. Kirby Squeak Squad's a different game, just like Nightmare in Dream Lan is different from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.

Actually... there IS hope. I remember seeing a preview of a platforming kirby game for either the gamecube or Wii, and it appears that you can even have three helpers out at the same time!
