  • nice..nice job!!!!...I really apreciate that you share this material...thanks man..sorry for my poor english!!!

  • Great technique and playing, reminds me in parts of Gary Novak's playing in a video on here with Chick Corea.

  • great playing, licks and lessons. :) what set do you play on here?

  • @Villiaam Thanks. It's a pearl export I've refinished. The snare is made from a maple shell and hardware off a cheap beginner model. Cymbals are a 24" K light ride with a crack, and K/A Custom hi hats.

  • really good touch... awesome playing.

  • Extremely beautiful playing.

  • Hi so does the basic sticking of RLLR LRRL never really change? The variations are just the adding of more stuff right? But the basic sticking pattern of an inverted paradiddle never really changes?

  • @CasperGgoodwood It does change sometimes, see the big reply to gobluteam's comment

  • Awesome dude! More videos...I'm learning so much

  • Could you explain some of the variations in a little more detail for me? Are you accenting different notes, and accenting notes with the bass drum? What is some of the stuff you're doing with the bass drum as well, not filling the gaps, but, again, accenting with the bass drum? Its difficult to tell from the vid and i'm really interested to know

  • @gobluteam Sure: 0:01 basic rudiment with accents 0:16 bring only the RH accents to the floor tom 0:19 play the tom like a snare w/ RH accents on cymbal + bass 0:23 RH accents goes to the cymbal + bass 0:25 add RLRL in between so now it's RLLR LRRL RLRL (3/4 pattern) 0:33 change sticking to RLLR LRLL. RH accents are on cymbal + bass 0:36 keep everything (bass too) but change the ride pattern to quarters 0:51 RLRR LRRL, first two left accents to the hi hat (no bass drum) 0:57 RLLb RLLb
  • @GoAndPractice Haha I really wish I lived in minnesota. You seem like such a competent teacher! Much appreciated though!

  • @gobluteam He's a great teacher I've went to him for just over a year now starting with drums and going to guitar. He's taught me so much. He's great at explaining stuff. IF u lived in Minnesota I would without a doubt recommend him.
