I doubt this is the World Championships. I know freestyle's pretty much dead in the mainstream, but they can muster up quite a few people for the World Championships. It looks like there's only like, what, 20 people there?
Mind you this was 9 years ago, at this time freestyle was even smaller then it is now days. I believe this was the first World Championships since the "dead" of freestyle in the early 90's.

The invitation had no name, nor status... but on site it was decided it was a World Championships, considering the starting field.
I remember it was dark and cold... but lots of fun! The beginning of the new era for freestyle skateboarding.
