This is good independent machinima work, friend. The animation is top notch and the idea of L4D's world colliding with TF2 characters is really interesting and funny! The two things that need work are the volume (I've got it turned up pretty far and the voices still sound muffled in a few places) and the Scout's voice acting. Though I don't blame you for the latter, since good impersonators are sometimes hard to come by. Overall, 4 out 5 stars! :3

L4D and Tf2 are both made by valve. isn't there a mod to play as Tf2 characters in L4D levels yet?

I've seen CS:S, DoD and TF2 maps played with the L4D characters, but I've yet to come across TF2 chars inside a L4D map.

For example L4D in TF2 maps:

The modding community might be going into that some day, who knows. I guess there is a larger audience to play L4D in other games then the other way around.

Hmm you are correct, but then again. I'm using the left4dead chars as reference of size. This door is about 1.5 times as tall as any normal door it seems :P

So he is actually in proportion (using L4D chars as messurement, only Louis and Francis are taller then half the door)

how did you get TF2 charters in L4D?

It's a feature called "chroma keyer" with this you can create a blue/green box effect. With TF2 modelviewer you make the movements and gestures of the chars and then edit it with your video software. When your done you smooth out the edges and it looks like the char is in a different environment.

Well it is almost as Rodriquez said, but instead of a chroma key I use a true greenscreen key (dragn'drop+little tweaking).

And with modelviewer I think he ment FacePoser, which is used for gestures/lipsyncing etc (TF2 chars are somewhat limited though in gestures)

I made a tutorial vid about FacePoser, then using TF2 bots+greenscreen

Also to make scout appear behind objects (door/wall etc...) I use a 4/8/16 point garbage matte effect

-all of the above is based on Premiere CS3 terminology
