cozz..PCD orginaly started off as a burlesque group. but later they wnated to have their own music..so nicole and melody joined the group coz they are singers. and the others are dancers..who chose to be in the group. thts why nicole sings most of the time..and so does melody. melody is more like an r&b singer, and nicole doesnt fall in any category which is wht they need for PCD, coz the music has different elemetns.
