Ooooooooo Weeeeeeeee!! Me and my sister used to have this tiny transistor radio and we would carry it with us all the time. Whenever this song came on, we would go bananas. We would sing this song word-for-word and 2-step at the same time. LOL!!!
i can't believe i found this song!!! i had been wondering what the name of this song was or who sung it, about a year or so ago. and i accidently came across this video here thinking this might be the song i was looking for. and what do you know!!!???
I'll never forget Avon doing this song in Jr. High. She wasn't even singing, Just lip-syncing the song, but she made us feel like she was the real deal.
I remember when this song first came out. It went on and on and on and on. Good music just does not die. Thank you Barbara Acklin for your contribution.
