CDA golf course?? The Health building? Seagulls? REALLY? Those aren't wonders, those are everyday places and things. (Btw that golf course is in COEUR D' ALENE not Spokane) Never mind the fact that Spokane has an over 100 year old clock tower or the steam plant, or the Monroe Street bridge, apparently a flipping hamburger has more importance.

As somebody who's thinking of moving to Spokane because Seattle is too expensive, I'm getting a real kick out of how lame these wonders are.

Spokane is cool because it isn't cool if that makes sense. As a Bay Area transplant, my advice is to be ready for the change of not having the benefits of a major metropolitan area. If that sounds ok to you, then you will like it here. Also, 'scenes' are very tight here across the board and people are really friendly. This town is what one makes of it more than other places I have lived.

This video is hysterically funny! To think that the number one "wonder" of Spokane (which is a great city) is Dick's is laughably absurd! What about the canopy over Riverfront Park, the Victorian mansions in Brown's Addition, or the view from the South Hill? Even the trash-eating goat should rank higher than Dick's.
