  • does this product have a bass guitar and a piano app.

  • Thanks for sharing your music. SO tired of hearing mediocre and downright crappy players demoing gear. Even great sounding equipment sounds like crud in their hands. It becomes difficult to research anything objectively.

  • @UnitedEffect Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed the demo!

  • love the playing , can you tell me how to make a sitar type sound out of the rp1000?or a sound which feels indian?

  • Wow man. Just checked your video, when searching about RP's and must say, that I really love what you played.

I don't find too many videos of people showing some gear and playing something nice. It's the same blues licks, allover.

Do you have an album? I'd love to get it.

  • @checkie4ever Thanks so much! I have a bunch of CDs online. Goto CD Baby and put in the search either my name (Steve Booke) or my group (Violet Samudra). Violet Samudra is more of the Middle Eastern/Indian vibe. My other CDs are a mix of new age and World Fusion.

    Take care,

    Steve

  • @Steve0916 Hey man. I checked those CD's and really like it all!! Very pro playing and great musicianship. Count me as a fan!

Can you share how you ran RP into amps. I mean, what kind( of amplifier ) do you use to run RP into and how you all connect it with cables? I'd really appreciate your help.

  • @checkie4ever Thanks so much. For this demo I just ran into the front input of my amp (which for this was an old Randall).

  • Nice

  • @stevevai0 digitech all of the way

  • @stevevai0 I'm not familiar with the Pod HD500, so I can't really give you a comparative opinion. I can just say that the RP1000 is an excellent piece of gear you can do a lot with.

  • @Steve0916 And what about comparing with the Boss gt 10? And thks for your answer.

  • what he's playing is based on an Indian Raaga... I bet! in between some major notes.. wow!

  • @heavyaby003 home by dream theater

  • Reminds me of primus

  • Cool sounds. Wish we could have seen you working the RP1000. At least we got to hear clicks on whatever you were stepping on.

  • @Ezguitarpick Thanks for watching. I did this video before I got a second camera. The first few clicks are setting up the looper and the last one is adding my stompbox (xotic BB preamp) to the sound I was using.

  • @Steve0916 Thank you Steve for your reply. I understand that. I am trying to get some recording going my own self and wish I had better camera setups. If we made enuff bucks from doing these things, we could buy some decent recording stuff couldn't we! boo hoo hoo .... ha-ha

  • @Ezguitarpick I know what you mean! I did another version that will be up on the Digitech website with the 2nd camera. I'll post here when that's up.

    Thanks!

  • Well, I'm sold on this. Now, can someone loan me 400 quid? :-))

    Please!

  • Nice! What mode was that?

    Phyrgian Dominant?

  • @JohnJeevasingham

Its a combination of that plus some major 7s and sharp 4s thrown in here and there.

  • @Steve0916

    Thanks! :-)

Is there any fixed time signature in the first few loops before the soloing was added on?

  • @JohnJeevasingham

No there wasn't. I was trying to emulate the free feel of a tanpura.

  • @JohnJeevasingham It's in 5/4

  • Nice tones! Cool demo! Love the RP1000 pedal!

  • you my friend are a genius. Still want those lessons!
