Quick question, I tend to see a lot of mustangs with the 12in stripes like this where they are not all the way down the front end. Any reason for that other than simple styling? I have them bumper to bumper on my Stang and I don't see why you wouldn't go all the way for the full Shelby look?
@oXJDwoodmanXo - ya, I know what you mean, however these were actually the only way Ford installed th rally stripes directly as an option. If you had the dealership do it, this is what you got. All of the "all the way over" stripes you see were done aftermarket. I like the way they are all the way down on the 07 Shelby GT we own now, but I did also come to like the way these (on our old 05 T) looked over time too, so I left them stock.
@johnguz76 - Ah, gotta love the douchebag Youtube Trolls! Just out to comment blindly. They're called daytime running lights you non-contributing waste of skin. You obviously know so little about these cars and autos in general that it's profoundly perplexing as to why you even took the time to post in the first place.
BTW - judging by the intelligence you displayed here, I'm sure that are much more than 42 seconds of your life you wish you had back...
Sorry it took so long to reply, yes, you can get ones that are very simply plug and play. I went with the wire-yourself version which was about $50 cheaper though and it still only took me about an 45-60 minutes.
And thanks for the kudos on the flip-flops... I race in the them too (well barefoot actually). ;)
What would I get "nailed"? There is nothing to get "nailed" for. They are an option added because I wanted them. There is no law about how bright aftermarket, non-required day time running lights have to be.
is this the 2010-2011, or is the older one? either way, your 'stangg looks amazing

Wow you can hardly see those DRLS. Hope you don't get nailed because of that.

Regardless, Thanks for stopping by, JR

Day running lights are not a requirement in US. Also they are equally as bright as C5/C6 Corvette.
