  • The Girls (The Wigs , The Dresses) , The vehicles , the story , the whole show is pure cult and unforgettable! I own a 1972 Dinky Toys S.H.A.D.O. - Mobile in mint condition which I'm very proud of - what a reminder of the old days of my childhood. (Not for sale thank you) I was so scared of those Aliens back then (lol) - unbelievable if you see it today. R.I.P. Ed and Mike! UFO forever!

  • OMG Ayshea Brough she was..well just WOW

  • Terrific little tribute video! Did you know Michael Billington died five days before Ed Bishop in 2005? Michael passed 6/3 and Ed 6/8, both from cancer related illnesses. I understand they were friends until the end. It was a GREAT show....

  • Both are so sexy! :D

  • The show is very nice & the ladys are very sexy !

  • One of the greatest TV shows, and Gabrielle Drake: OMG,so sexy!

  • Don't forget Peter Gordino (singer and dancer) and Ayshea Brough (babe, and tv presenter) was also in UFO, not to mention George Sewell (sweeney)

  • Ed and Michael were great. I hope the new UFO movie will live up to what this show was.

  • Gabrielle Drake in her moonbase costume YUMMY!!

  • A tribute to Ed Bishop and Mike Billington of UFO fame.

  • Look out for Stephanie Beacham halfway through - PHWOAR!!!!

  • 1980 never looked so cool!

  • Even though it was 1970

  • @GNeuman It was 1970 and the show was made very late 60's

  • The greatest TV show ever!!!

    Mr. Anderson was pure genius.

  • @kenmtb Yes, Very true. I still enjoy it. The show is timeless

  • @kenmtb I take it you're a fan?

  • After UFO, Ed Bishop returned to America where he struggled to find work. So he did a spot of painting and decorating in NYC for cash. While he was painting someone's kitchen, the mother and daughter retired to the living room to watch TV where he heard the familiar refrain of "da-da-da....dadada."

He said he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

  • He deserved better than that! That's really quite sad but thanks for telling us that one.

  • Wanda Ventham (Col. Lake) was a hot little MILF

  • @9thprotocol Yes she was........

  • UFO is a fantastic show! Love the SHADO people, the futuristic look, the amazing model work and the great score by Barry Gray. It really was ahead of its time in some aspects. The plots are very interesting and exciting, sometimes bizarre but cool and highly entertaining. Cult tv at its best!

  • Good comment!! Very true!

  • we moved around a lot as my Dad had been in the Army. I was just discovering girls when this show came on. Recently I saw a girl wearing a skirt even shorter than the Lt's !

  • I would just like to add another tribute for Peter Gordeno who also starred in UFO who passed away recently due to cancer. he was and stil is a much loved actor singer, song writer, producer and many more. we are all going to miss you especially Angela. rest in peace. sam hayes xxx

  • the day after christmas day mate.

  • amazing stuff, my mum used to let me stay up late when it was on in the early seventies (i was about 8 years old). I saw the ed straker car parked on a driveway in Bridgenorth, shropshire, in 1986. it belonged to one of the production staff so I was told. loved all of the vehicles in the show, I had a ufo interceptor for christmas in 1974, I lost the rocket for it by boxing day!! that pissed me off....

  • I was a great friend of Mike's throughout the many years he lived on the Isle of Man.

We had a lot of good times getting drunk together. ( A few funny stories too)

Hard to take in that he's not with us anymore.

  • A great up-grade from thunderbirds, i watch the repeats on a sunday morning just after i got married in late 72. I now own them all on dvd plus a S.I.D model

  • One sexy show.

I think Mike Myers credits UFO with influencing the look for "Austin Powers"

    Mike and Ed RIP.

(We will all see you soon enough.)

  • Class TV that I refused to miss when I was a kid. I didn't even know they'd died.

  • THAT'S MY FAORITE!

    I was 13!

    Ed..Michael....we'll never forget you!

    Thanx!

    Davide.

  • Wonderful! But where is Colonel Paul Foster singing in a towel?

  • Great series! First time I saw it I was 6, in the US 1973-1974, then again 3 years later and I remember the best episodes most clearly: Question of Priorities, Sub Smash, and The Psychobombs.

  • Exelent selection , edition and music

  • Awesome clips from an awesome show! Thank you. Love the music, the hardware and the sexy-looking girls. Thanks.

  • I was in school when this was out. Gesh, I miss my youth. Thanks Gerry Anderson and all of you. Ed, Mike. RIP peace indeed.

  • RIP Mike and Ed and George. Great actors in a wonderful TV show - the best of the 70s. Indispensable

  • I can;t beleive they're dead! These were not very old men! What the hell is going on? It's a conspiracy I tell you!

  • They died within a week of one another. Very sad.

  • Mitico!! Che nostalgia...Ma che montaggio strepitoso, complimenti all'autore!Questo va dritto nei preferiti!!!!

  • Wonderful and I discovered this by accident - what 1980 looked like in the 60s

  • 1970 in fact!
