No it charges full size lead acid batteries using some but not a trmedous amount of electricity. Conventional charging requires about at least 4 to 6 ampere of input. This uses about 1 amp.
I have found embedding the magnets is the way to stop alot of vibration and get rid of air resistance. Another trick is to put carpet foam under the assembly to help absorb vibration. Single coils are much easier to position verses a multi coil rotor. Cheers!

Absolutely correct. The tape helps with wind resistance but imbedding would be the best.
