Wow, finally a person who feels the same way! Can't say that I ever watched Legend, but I always felt that the music in Ladyhawke was just a terrible choice for that film. It took away from the scenes to the point of distracting. Nothing at all against The Alan Parsons Project, but it was awful. Excellent film, imo, otherwise!

There is no reference of them being cousins, except from the fact that she calls Richards father "uncle" in the begining... I haven't read the book, maybe there is more info in there about this matter... Anyway, this movie is really awesome, i watched it for the first time yesterday.... Oh, and by the way, the movie is 'supposed' to take place WAY before the 70's even though it was made then, lot's of people had babies much younger then as they died younger :-S, for one reason, do your research, LOL! 'The Blue Lagoon" is a movie that came out back in The '70s. It was a very popular movie then. As a mater of fact I thought it was put together very well. I suggest you rent it and watch it and all your questions will be answered to the innocents of their nature. Hint: They were lost at sea by a mishap abroad their ship, when they were very young. When the movie first came out I had scrapbooked some of the articles. One of them was about the body double for Brooke - it was an Australian stunt diver named Kathy. You never saw breasts and Brooke's head at the same time because they weren't her breasts. And they used "pasties" along with hair extensions to cover her breasts most of the time. It's actually very obvious to tell that she's never actually shown topless.

Brooke's acting was nowhere near as good as in Pretty Baby or today, but the movie was still everything you (both) mentioned. Very nicely done - not smutty, and Brooke was a girl to look up to. She was one of my "heroes". So many people didn't realize that the nudity in the film isn't her (notice in the movie that you never see her face at the same time as her chest - it was actually a diver/stunt woman named Kathy when the nudity was shown). And the soundtrack was stunning.

Yes, today Brooke is an amazing actress, and she looked as an absolute precocious genius in Pretty baby, of course she was!!! I love her, and I think her nudity in Pretty baby was treated in a very nice way, respectful!! PB is a beautiful piece of art, I think, like her.
