Well, Climax never made it to the arcades around here, much to my chagrin. The 360/PSN port is going to be my first chance to actually play it, and from what I gather, not many outside the usual group of Sega fans are really drooling over it. This kinda game, for whatever reason, just doesn't get much love these days.
There's just to much to post on these arcade classics. Especially, the ones from SEGA. I think it's safe to say since the arcades are in demise that history will remember SEGA as the premier arcade developer ever!
I remember always asking employees at local computer stores why there wasn't a game system or computer that could reproduce the graphics of this arcade hit. NO 1could give me an answer. I later found out it was bc Sega's arcade hardware was 6-10 years ahead of consumer hardware.

When Afterburner: Climax came out i bet millions of people shit their pants in awe. XD
And, yes, the game has a "Climax-o-meter" that fills with kills. Climax for Infinite missiles XDD
