  • Nice Elvis jumpin out the 600 Benz!

  • I think Elvis could have been a Presdent of the Untied Skates, if 14 year-old girls could vote.

  • were he like to fly???

  • thanks for sharing

  • I thought that Elvis' plane was a different jet. I saw it being refurbished at the Fort Worth airport a few times. It had "Lisa Marie" painted on the side. But it didn't look like a jetstar, it looked like a 707 or something like a Boeing aircraft.

  • Oh boy a bother jet for Elvis

Did they know he was afraid of flying

For a few years back before the 1970's

 long live the king of rock tcb " e"

    From rob

  • I don't think this jet was owned by Elvis. Elvis's private jet was a Lockheed JetStar. It is on display at Graceland.

  • @videoproducer100 His private plane was a Convair 880; if my memory serves me correctly he gave the Jetstar to the Colonel, who didn't want it as he didn't want to spend money in maintaining it

  • The scene is from the 1972 rockumentary Elvis On Tour - now re-released on dvd & bluray in amazing picture and sound.

The jet Elvis is using here is actually chartered. He eventually bought his personal plane in 1975 - a big Convair 880 - converted it into a fantastic flying hotel suite and named it after his daughter Lisa Marie. He later bought a smaller jet and used both for his concert tours and his own leisure.

Both jets can now be fully seen on display at Graceland - Elvis' home.

  • he was one of the first to have his own private jets the KING!!!!!

  • very good

  • Goodby Elvis!

  • pretty good.

  • nossa eu nunca vi este video do elvis amei cara valeuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • Elvis owned two planes. Lisa Marie (the large 4 engine Convair ) and a smaller business jet for maybe 8- 12 persons. On Tour he also rented a 3. plane.

Its very unusuall even today that successful artists and bands has their own large airplane. Cant think of any...

But a Kings gotta do what a Kings gotta do.

  • This is not Elvis mercedes, and this was not his own Aircraft but a chartered jet,, he only owned 2 planes a convair 880 and the smaller l jetstar, the colonial later used,,, He never owned a 747 The convair came from delta airlines when it was retired, and burned way to much fuel .. It would smoke like a chimney when he would levae here

  • Transport fit for a King!

  • The Lisa Marie airplane is a Convair 880. When the 880 first came on the scene in the 1950's, it was the world's fastest passenger plane at the time.

  • Until 0:45 he duid not look at the camera

  • Elvis had 2 jets like that one and a 747 plane

  • He never had a 747

  • Elvis NEVER had a 747. He had this 1 & the Lisa Marie which is a 707 size jet. His call sign on it was " Hound Dog 1 "

  • "This is the medallion of life"... this message was uttered by a young Sioux Indian backstage at an E. Presley cocert in 1977. The Torah is the "Tree of Life" for all who behold it. Sincerely, The Legendary Danny O'Doul

  • Repost but good to see it again. Thnx

  • Only Elvis or dictators could afford those cars. Back then, that kind of Mercedes was the most expensive car in the world, and had hydraulic everything, trunk, doors, windows, ajustable suspension, in car frige, and quite possibly the loudest car horn in automotive history. Leave it to the king.
