@240sxmetal Ya it was N/A. Supposedly it was a fully built KA24 but it was still very slow. I have no idea of what was inside the motor itself. I don't have alot of experience with the KA motors but it seems the best thing to do is boost them. Based off of dyno numbers, they have better tq than the SR motors and are much cheaper.
I love my crx and just got a our first 240sx the other day, 1993 se, 60,000 original miles, stock, beige, hatchback, i love both because they are top of the line models, they have low mileage, their stock and i get to have fwd also rwd fun i will post a video of it soon, i forgot to say though its automatic
@Brendon00000 Sounds nice. I'm debating on getting a 240 coupe myself but I honestly need another car like a hole in my head lol. I need to get rid of some crap before I can think of doing anything :/
@Brendon00000 supposedly had a built engine with higher compression pistons and a nice cam but, even if it did, it was very slow. My B16 hatch was much faster so that tells you how slow it was lol. Anyway, he didn't keep it very long at all so that tells me it was just a POS. This was the first and only time I saw the car. I have the vid when he left out wide open but never uploaded due to it being laughably slow. He now has a RB25 swapped coupe 240 (or last time i heard from him.)
NIce!!! my car make that same sound after takeing the headers off and takeing the header gasket off the heads when un-blot.ed and bloted them back up so it well backfire. and run Rich now lol lmafo POP !! ! Pop Pop when i let off the gas its like running open headers
yeah we traded cars (s13 coupe for s13 hatch). i'm trying to locate a camera to get some footage of some of my friends and myself tearin' it up. i just now got back from some rain sliding since i'm open diff till i get off my ass and put the welded one in.
nice ive wanted a s13 coupe for a while now but havent found the right one yet. do you still have the old KA out of the hatch? what all was wrong with it besides the header stud? lolz i need to get off my ass too and put the rest of my crap on my car thats been sitting around for 6 months. ive got a camera and tripod if you want to shoot a few vids one weekend.
